Every year, another bunch of baby names rises to the top of popular monikers — but the latest batch of trendy titles sounds awfully familiar to us! That's right, the Social Security office has released its official list of most popular baby names, and we're pretty sure we've seen quite a few of these girl names before (we're looking at you, Sophia and Ella!).

Emma nabs the top spot once again! With the root of Emma meaning "strength," it really is a lovely name for a baby girl.
2. Olivia
Olivia, the name of Shakespeare's beautiful heiress in Twelfth Night, comes in second once again. Olive us love it! (Get it?)
3. Sophia
Sophia is directly derived from the Greek word sophia, meaning wisdom and skill.

A name fit for a queen, Isabella has been in the top five for a while now!

Abigail comes from the Hebrew Avigayil, which is derived from avigayil . meaning father of exaltation, father is rejoicing. So sweet.

21. Aubrey
