13 Brutally Honest Notes From Kids With No Filter

Most parents know all too well that kids often have no filter. Whether they're placing demands on everyone from mom and dad to the tooth fairy, or sharing their thoughts on a new sibling, children really do "keep it real." The Instagram account Kiddy Litter is teeming with hilarious examples of the times when the little guys and gals get a little too honest.

They'll out you for your bad habits while simultaneously telling you they love and hate you. But when you see it on paper in their big handwriting — accompanied sometimes by illustrations — you can't help but laugh. Take a look at these brutally honest notes and see if any of the sentiments look familiar.

Looks like this kid's got it all figured out. Taking advantage of moms who are the distracted might be the oldest trick in the book, but apparently it still works. Who can be mad at a kid who puts a smiley face at the end of this advice?
