The app has been around for a while now, but over the past year, TikTok has seriously blown up — and it's not just for kids, either. Though some of us may have felt old when we first downloaded the app, it didn't take long to find out that it's actually one of the best on our phone. After a long day, the short videos always make us laugh — especially when funny moms come up on our For You page.
Aside from all the viral dances, there are actually a lot of hilarious moms on TikTok who are willing to show the funny (and sometimes embarrassing) side of parenting with the world. It's nice to watch a video and know that someone else is out there, rolling their eyes at the same thing we are (and yes, sometimes, that thing is our kid when they're giving us attitude).
In need of a few laughs? Here are the moms everyone should follow to keep them laughing every time they open up TikTok. Motherhood is a journey, but we're never alone in what we're going through. One of the best ways to get through it is just to laugh about it.
Kat Stickler
This mama has managed to gain over 5 million followers, and it's easy to see why. Not only is Kat Stickler hilarious (and her daughter, MK, is too cute), but she also keeps it real. She recently became a single mother, and she's sharing the journey so far.
Brenda Lynne
Our kids think that running away from home to live with grandma is the biggest threat ever, but they have no idea how much we'd love the alone time! Mom Brenda Lynne shares her life as a mom and wife, including what it's like raising two daughters.
Amy Sloan
Anyone else dealing with the ups and downs of raising teenagers? Amy Sloan has a series called "Life With a Teenager" where she pretends to be her teen, and WOW — it is spot on. Not just when it comes to our own kids, but how we acted as teens, too. LOL!
Kristin Arteaga
This mom of a 5- and 6-year-old uses this hilarious filter to imitate her kids, and it's comedy gold. In this video, she shares the reality of our kids pretending like we're bothering them, even when they are the ones who asked for our attention.
Brummy Mummy
This video perfectly represents what it's like to live with kids who want everything to be fair — even if it's already fair. See: The juice debacle. It's the same amount of juice, just in two different cups. Are they happy? No.
Erica Picciolo
Mom Erica Picciolo is raising three kids, and laughing about it the whole time as she shares what it's like, as she's doing in this video. Tattling: We've all been there. One of our kids breaks the rules, the other tells on them — it's just life!
Ashlay Soto
Ashlay Soto has two daughters: A 13-year-old and a 1-year-old. With an age gap like that, she has a lot of funny stories to tell about their sisterly relationship — and the payback she's getting for having an attitude with her own mom now that she has a teenage daughter of her own.
M_Hogsfan
Michelle is a mom and wife who, according to her TikTok bio, is "just here to laugh," but really, she's here to make us laugh. In this video, she shares the reality of old moms vs. young moms — because young moms become old moms eventually.
Jessica Scube
Jessica has been around on YouTube sharing her adventures as a mom (of seven kids!) for a long time, and now, she's on TikTok, too. Given that all of her kids were home virtual learning, she has a lot of funny content to share that we can all relate to.
Ong Squad
This mom of four shares what it's like parenting a toddler — and as many of us are well aware, this comes with a lot of funny (and sometimes frustrating) moments — as well as her older kids, too, including when they refuse their snacks but are still hungry later.
Julia Faye
Mom Julia Faye shares her own takes on parenting, but one of her best videos is about how much we do for our kids to make the holidays magical, like leaving "snowy" footprints from Santa and pretending to be a reindeer eating the carrots they left out.
Shannypants
While some moms definitely have the time to make perfect lunches for their kids, Shannypants isn't one of them — and she isn't afraid to tell the world. Seeing her try to absorb how much detail is going into this lunchbox prep vs. what she can actually do in the morning is hilarious.
Alexis Fontanez-Moor
All of Alexis' videos about motherhood are total gold, but this one is too relatable. We will always wish our kids were the well behaved ones, peacefully playing together. Is that real life? Absolutely not.
Jolie
This 20-year-old single mom has the most adorable baby — and the funniest videos. Case in point: This video that shares how we really feel when our kids are born looking like their dad after we did all the work bringing them into the world.
Heyshantaq
Her content isn't just about parenting — she jokes about everything, and it's well worth the follow, especially after we saw this video of her talking about what happened when the school called to tell her that her daughter was leaving with a strange man every day.
Christi Lukasiak
Middle school is such a special time — and most of us will find out exactly how moody our kids can be during that time. Here, this mom lets us know that if our kids are embarrassed when we pick them up from school, we're not alone.
Rebecca Starkey
As a mom, lying to our kids is necessary sometimes, especially when it comes to convincing them to take their vitamins. Hey, if they look like a fruit snack and taste like a fruit snack, what's the harm?
In a Mother World
Well, here's some inspiration next time we need to dole out a punishment. Laleh is a mom of four, and in this video, she shares what's worse than taking our kids' phones away when they're misbehaving: Taking their charger, so they can watch their phone die knowing they can't charge it.
Momma Barbosa
Here's another mom who knows what it's like to live with teenagers! We spend all our time with them when they're little, just wishing for time to ourselves — and then we get too much of it when they're older and refuse to leave their rooms.
KGMommaK
Between her videos about her daughter and her husband, this lady always keeps us laughing. Ever been mocked by a kid, especially in the drive thru? Then this video will definitely hit home!
