Pennsylvania State Police have arrested a man in connection with the February 26 murder of 23-year-old Rebekah Byler. Byler, an Amish mother of two, was reportedly six months pregnant with her third child at the time of her death. State police announced Saturday that 52-year-old Shawn Cranston of Corry, Pennsylvania, has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide, criminal homicide of an unborn child, burglary, and criminal trespass in Byler's death.
The arrest comes after a five-day investigation that began when Rebekah's husband, Andy Byler, discovered her unresponsive body in their Sparta Township home. The couple's two children were at home at the time but were physically unharmed.

Cranston was arrested early Saturday morning.
Pennsylvania State Police announced the arrest of Cranston, who was arraigned and moved to Crawford County Jail. He is not eligible for bail under Pennsylvania state law because of the nature of the charges against him, per police.
The New York Post reported that Cranston appears to be married and has worked for a trucking company, driving a rig he dubbed "The Flying Turd."
Cranston's Facebook page has a chilling message.

"I’m someone’s worst nightmare if they mess with me and mine" states the introduction to the Facebook page that, according to the Post, belongs to Cranston. The page also includes a meme that states that a man "never forgets the people that crossed him," along with recent birthday fundraising posts for causes related to wounded veterans.
No motive for the alleged murder has been released.
When Byler's body was found by her husband, she "appeared to have cutting wounds to her neck and head," according to WHYY. Authorities have not yet revealed what the murder weapon might have been or what connection, if any, there was between the Byler family and Cranston.
Cranston is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on March 15.
