Family Stages ‘Pink-Out’ at Man’s Home After He’s Accused of Killing & Dismembering Teen

Sade Robinson was only 19 years old when she decided to go on a first date with 33-year-old Maxwell Anderson on April 1. In a tragic turn of events, it ended up being the couple's only date as Anderson stands accused of killing Robinson and mutilating her body, then scattering her remains in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. He was arrested and charged with her death on April 12, and investigators are currently working to find the remainder of Robinson’s body.

Her family and friends are devastated by the heinous acts allegedly committed against Robinson and held a "pink-out" at Anderson's home in her honor. Pink was reportedly her favorite color, and loved ones felt it was important to bring light to such a tragic ending.

Robinson and Anderson went on a dinner date before she was killed.

According to court documents obtained by Fox 6, the pair met at the Twisted Fisherman, a restaurant where Anderson was once employed. A bartender said they "appeared to have casual conversation, before leaving together." The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported, according to Robinson's cellphone records, the pair left the restaurant and headed to a bar around 6:30 p.m., and then to Anderson's home around 9 p.m. Her phone pinged near downtown Milwaukee around 12:45 a.m. and then in the Warnimont Park area in Cudahy, where it remained until the battery died around 4:30 a.m.

Phone records led to a gruesome discovery.

Per the Journal Sentinel, Robinson was reported missing on April 2. The same day, police found a leg in Warnimont Park that they soon realized belonged to the missing young woman. The discovery kickstarted a thorough investigation that linked a torched Honda Civic to Robinson, and video surveillance footage showed Anderson in the area. Police also found a foot near the scene of the burned car as well as Robinson's clothes, the Journal Sentinel reported.

Police pinned the killing on Anderson.

Per a news release from the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, police quickly identified Anderson as the prime suspect and arrested him on April 4.

"Anderson, of the 3100 block of S. 39th Street, is charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide, a class A felony, that, upon conviction, would result in a sentence of life imprisonment, Mutilating a Corpse, a class F felony, that could result in a fine of up to $25,000, 12-and-a-half years imprisonment, or both, and Arson of Property Other Than Building, a class I felony that comes with penalties of up to $10,000 in fines, three-and-a-half years imprisonment, or both," the release reads.

Robinson's family wants justice.

Her family is working diligently with the police to find her remains and give her a proper burial. Her mother, Sheena Scarbrough, wrote a tribute to her daughter on Facebook.

"My Babies are such Angels and Have been Raised to help others in this Evil world. Sade was One In a Million. Her Sister and our Family are Beyond Devastated to have her taken from us like this. She touched soo many individuals while on this earth. Love you Angel Daughter Eternally Always," the post reads.

Family and friends took pink items to Anderson's house in honor of Robinson and to spread awareness throughout his neighborhood. Her aunt, Jackie M. Garza wrote on Facebook, "THE POINT IS NOT TO BE CUTE WE MAKING A STATEMENT WE STANDING ON JUSTICE FOR MY FAMILY !!!! YALL NOT OUT HERE SO STFU PERIOD SAY HER NAME."
