It seems like it's been a pretty scary week for Drew Barrymore. Earlier this week, the celebrity mom and talk show host was approached by an alleged stalker, Chad Michael Busto, while giving a talk with Reneé Rapp on stage, and now, there's been a new development in the situation. Busto has been arrested after he showed up in Drew's neighborhood, looking for the actress, and it sounds like this situation could have turned out a lot worse than it did if not for her neighbors looking out for her.

Busto rushed the stage earlier this week while Drew was giving a talk.
Drew and Reneé were in conversation at the 92nd Street Y in New York when a man introduced himself as Chad Michael Busto and ran up to where Drew was sitting on stage.
"You know who I am. I need to see you at some point while I’m in New York," he said.
In the shocking footage that's been circulating on TikTok, we can see security take the man into custody while Drew is escorted off stage. A few minutes later, she returned to continue the conversation.
Busto was detained again on Wednesday.
Police responded to a 911 call of a suspicious person in Southampton after Busto was seen riding a bicycle into residents' driveways, telling them he was looking for Drew's house. He was detained for questioning and later released, but the story didn't end there.
He was arrested on Thursday.
Between his initial questioning and previous incidents, investigators had enough information that "led to facts that substantiated a charge for stalking," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Busto was arrested and held overnight and was expected to be arraigned on Friday morning.

Allegedly, Drew isn't the only celebrity that Busto has stalked.
Radar Online has reported that Busto has also shown interest in Amber Heard, even once publicly proclaiming that he had proposed marriage to her.
"Good evening everybody at Walmart. If I can have your attention please, it's my personal belief that we are probably in the apocalypse: the end times," he said in a video that was taken inside of a Walmart. "My name is Chad Michael Busto and we are recording this. So, Amber Heard … She's a famous actress. I have proposed to her for marriage."
Hopefully, everyone involved is able to stay safe.
This sounds like a terrifying ordeal, and hopefully, Drew can stay safe during this time. Here's hoping that she will be able to avoid facing another scary incident like this.
