Looking back on 2023, it's hard to argue that any celebrity had a bigger year than Taylor Swift. She enjoyed new heights of professional success, is rumored to have become a billionaire from the profits of her Eras Tour and movie, and started dating the swoon-worthy NFL star Travis Kelce. Now that 2023 is over and 2024 is underway, we can't help but wonder which celebrities are going to have an epic year this year.
Now, we don't have a magical crystal ball or the ability to predict the future, but we do have some suspicions about which celebrities are poised to enjoy some personal or professional success this year. From likely Oscar nods to new albums that could finally knock Taylor off the top of the charts, we've made our list of the famous faces we think we'll be seeing a lot of in 2024. Spoiler alert: we think it still might be hard to beat Ms. Swift when it comes to fame, even in a new year!

Taylor Swift
Could Taylor Swift possibly top her success in 2023? Maybe! She'll be back on the road for the international leg of the Eras Tour, she's likely to drop the hotly anticipated Taylor's Version of her album Reputation, and we're all still curious to see what happens with her and Travis Kelce … could engagement bells be ringing for her in 2024?
Gracie Abrams
Speaking of Taylor Swift, singer Gracie Abrams will be spending part of her 2024 back on the road opening up for some of the Eras Tour. Not only is she gaining a bigger following from all the Swifties, she's nominated for her first Grammy award this year, in the best new artist category.
Simone Biles
Simone Biles got gold in ring form in 2023 when she got married to NFL player Jonathan Owens (hey, Jonathan, FYI: Simone is the catch). In 2024, she's planning to go for a different kind of gold: medals at the Paris Olympics. We'll be rooting for her as she aims for a third Olympics team win.
Rihanna
Rihanna had a big 2023 with a buzz-worthy Super Bowl performance where she revealed she was expecting her second child. Her son Riot Rose was born in August 2023, which was very exciting but also not as exciting as it will be if she finally announces a new album in 2024. It has been eight years since her last album and every year fans hope this will be the year for new music. Our prediction: if she drops an album in 2024, it will be massive.
Ryan Reynolds
We just can't help rooting for funny man Ryan Reynolds and we think he's going to have a great 2024. The reality show about the Welsh football club he co-owns, Welcome to Wrexham, has been renewed for a third season and already won multiple Creative Arts Emmy Awards for its critically acclaimed second season. He's also in production on his third Deadpool movie, which is set to be released in summer 2024 and will almost certainly be a box office hit.

Quinta Brunson
Not only is her hit show Abbott Elementary one of the most eagerly anticipated returning shows for spring 2024, Quinta Brunson hit another major milestone in the early days of the year. Yep, she just guest starred on Sesame Street! What could be bigger than getting to hang with Elmo?
Travis Kelce
While we can't predict if Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs will make it to the Super Bowl in 2024, we're pretty confident Taylor's boyfriend is going to have a fun year. In addition to his busy football and media career, Kelce is an executive producer on his first film, a comedy drama called My Dead Friend Zoe, which should be released by the end of this year.
Margot Robbie
The Oscar nominations won't be out for a few more weeks, but we'll be stunned if Margot Robbie doesn't get her third Academy Award nomination in 2024. In addition to a likely Oscar nod, the actress is rumored to be involved in an upcoming Ocean's 11 prequel that is currently in production.
Ryan Gosling
Another Barbie movie star who many people predict to be on the Oscar short list is Ryan Gosling. Gosling is also getting buzz for his upcoming movie The Fall Guy, which is predicted to open in the early summer. He's also rumored to be involved in the Ocean's 11 prequel, which means he and Margot Robbie could be reunited. We're here for it!
Meryl Streep
There is probably never a bad year to be Meryl Streep, right? The legendary actress is already starting the year nominated for her 33rd Golden Globe award and she's nominated for a Grammy, too. If she gets the Grammy, it will take her one step closer to becoming an EGOT winner.
Billie Eilish
Another celeb who might be headed toward eventual EGOT status is Billie Eilish. She's nominated for Grammy and she's almost certainly going to get an Oscar nod for her song What Was I Made For? from the Barbie movie. Adding to all that, she's back in the recording studio, so we're hoping for a new album this year, too.
Jennifer Lopez
It has been almost a decade since Jennifer Lopez released a studio album and that dry spell is ending in 2024. Jennifer has announced that she's not only releasing a new album called This Is Me… Now in February 2024, she's also taking a page from the Taylor Swift and Beyoncé book and releasing a film as well. Her movie This Is Me… Now: The Film will debut on Prime Video in February and promises to give fans a glimpse into her music and her high-profile marriage to Ben Affleck. We suspect plenty of people will tune in for that.

Prince Harry
After a rough couple of years, we're hoping that Prince Harry thrives in 2024. He'll be turning 40 this year and will face a big dad milestone as son Archie heads off to kindergarten. Harry will also be in major planning mode for the 2025 Invictus Games, the much-loved athletic competition he founded for wounded service men and women. We're not sure if 2024 will see any reconciliation between him and his royal family, but it will be big news if it happens.
America Ferrera
Another celebrity who'll be turning 40 and having a big year in 2024 is Barbie star America Ferrera. Already on the books for her 2024 is being a Golden Globes presenter, receiving the Critics Choice SeeHer award, and staring as the voice of Olga in an upcoming Pixar movie called Elio. All of this and some suspect she could get an Oscar nod for her role in Barbie.
Ariana Grande
Musical theater fans have been dying for a movie version of the hit Broadway show Wicked for years and it is finally happening in 2024. Ariana Grande stars in one of the lead roles of the hotly anticipated movie and she's announced plans to release a new album in 2024 as well. Will she be the one to knock Taylor off the top of all the charts? Time will tell.
