Meghan Markle’s Talent Agency May Drop Her After Royal Racism Controversy

Last week, a royal controversy emerged after the names of the two royals who allegedly made racist comments about Prince Archie before his birth may have been revealed, and at the end of all of this, somehow, some believe it's going to reflect negatively on Meghan Markle. According to one royal expert, it may be such a dire situation that Meghan's talent agency could end up dropping her to distance itself from the feud altogether. This definitely isn't looking good …

People have been wondering who made these alleged comments for a long time.

In their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan and Harry revealed that some of their royal family members had wondered aloud what the color of Archie's skin would be while Meghan was still pregnant. Though they refused to name names, someone else may have done that for them. Last week, a Dutch translation of royal reporter Omid Scobie's latest book, Endgame, named Kate Middleton and King Charles as the ones who made the racist comments.

At this point, Omid denies that he ever included any names in the English version, so whether this intel is actually legit is still a mystery.

This surprise reveal may be giving Meghan's talent agency some pause.

Though it's not clear what projects Meghan may or may not have in the works, the former actress is represented by William Morris Endeavor. But as royal expert Angela Levin told GB News, that partnership could be coming to an end very soon, as the agency is reportedly "horrified" about what this could mean.

"That can’t just be about the two names that were mentioned, it must be about their client, Meghan," Levin said.

Supposedly, the agency has already let Meghan know she's on thin ice.

"Meghan needs to be very careful. A lot of people have dropped her. The agency has told her to ‘stop moaning,’ because people are 'getting fed up' with it," Levin said. "If they now feel they have an even harder job to do in order to get her famous, it’s going to be difficult. It is going to be very difficult to get the glamour she wants."

Although it could be argued that they don't have to "get" her famous — she is a member of one of the most famous families in the world, after all — it sounds like the agency could be thinking representing her is a big business risk right now.

This could be devastating for Meghan.

Not only would she face a career setback, but according to Levin, it also could end up being a huge blow to her ego as she is reportedly "someone who needs to be adored all the time by the public."

So far, neither the agency nor Meghan has offered any confirmation or denial of these reports.

The situation is a very tenuous one.

We still have no clear answer on how Kate and Charles' names ended up in that Dutch translation, so it's hard to say how things will proceed from here for anyone involved. Still, it truly does seem that Meghan and Harry (and Archie) are the victims in all of this if the story unfolded the way they say it did. But who knows what new reveals could be around the corner?
