Khloé Kardashian Says She’s ‘Not Ok’ After Sending Daughter True Off to First Grade

Letting your children grow their wings and watching them fly on their own may be one of the hardest parts of parenthood, and Khloé Kardashian knows all about it. The 40-year-old media personality is having a hard time wrapping her mind around the fact that her daughter, True Thompson, is getting older and gaining more of a sense of independency. The 6-year-old recently started first grade, and her mom couldn't be more emotional about the huge milestone!

Khloé is super proud of True.

The proud mama shared a post to her Instagram. "First Grade!!! True I am so proud of you!! I know you’re going to have the most incredible year ahead of you!" she wrote. "I couldn’t be happier for you my angel. I’m not ok but I’ll pull it together by pick up time ."

She recently celebrated another big milestone for her son.

The media personality recently celebrated another milestone for Tatum, who turned two on July 29, 2024. "How are you two years old already?! The expression, 'the days are long, but the years are short' could not be any truer. I feel like we have had a lifetime together yet You are only two years old," she wrote.

"I am so proud to be your mommy. So proud of the love and laughter we have in our house. So proud of your beautiful, gentle, polite, intelligent, loving, infectious spirit," she added. "You light up every single room. There’s no denying that Everyone smiles when they look at you! Especially True she is so proud to call you hers, as am I."

Khloé shares her kids with ex Tristan Thompson.

Khloé shares her son and daughter with her ex-boyfriend, professional basketball player Tristan Thompson. In 2023, she confirmed that they were officially over after years of a tumultuous relationship.

“Tristan and I, we always get along great,” she said during an episode of The Kardashians. “Him and I, have a great friendship-relationship, we get along fine. And for my kids, I will put anything to the side. What’s done is done, so what would I still be holding on to something for? I don’t need to punish him because I’m not getting back with him.”
