Khloé Kardashian Admits She’s ‘Exhausted’ From Being the Main Caregiver for Her Two Kids

One of the things that noncelebrity parents envy about celebrity parents is their access to unlimited help caring for their children. That’s why it’s always a surprise when we find out there are celebrities who don’t have round-the-clock care for their kids. Khloé Kardashian recently opened up about her current child care situation, and it is certainly surprising.

Khloé shares two kids — daughter True and son Tatum — with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson. The Kardashians are known for their extravagant lifestyles, which certainly includes a team of assistants, nannies, and the like. With the amount of time they spend working and traveling, it only makes sense, but it sounds like Khloé may be more hands-on than you’d assume.

Khloé is often solo parenting her two kids.

During the most recent episode of The Kardashians, Khloé and older sister Kourtney had a conversation about why Khloé didn’t go to Paris for fashion week.

“I just didn't feel like it was the place for me. I was just getting anxious leaving the kids. Tristan's gone and it's hard for me to leave them,” Khloé explained.

Tristan Thompson currently plays basketball for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Khloé has typical single parent concerns.

“I don't have a parent to stay with them and then I was thinking, the whole family is out of the country,” Khloé continued, voicing some of her concerns about traveling so far away. “I was like, what if there's an earthquake? What if there's something and there's no parent? So I was just freaking myself out.”

She's doing more hands-on parenting than most people would believe.

Khloé told her sister that she’s “fine” with Tristan being in Cleveland but admits that “he's a big help” when he is in California. “And, you know, I don't have nannies at night, which I might have to change or at least have someone be available sometimes,” she revealed.

“So no one then lives in right now?” Kourtney asked, sounding surprised by the reveal.

Khloé likes being the kind of mom who does everything for her kids.

“No. And I'm just so hands-on. It's like cool half the time, but I make all of her lunches, I make her dinners, I do everything,” Khloé admitted. “I don't let anyone else do it. Tristan has done it but I'm so particular.”

“Oh my gosh, I can't even think about that,” Kourtney admitted.

Even though she enjoys being a hands-on parent, she's still overwhelmed by it.

Khloé opened up more about her struggle balancing being such a hands-on parent during her confessional, admitting “Every day after 8:30, when True's asleep, I am, like, crawling. Like I'm Leonardo DiCaprio out of Wolf of Wall Street to my bed, like, how do I get there? Then you wake up again and you do it all," she said.

“But it's amazing. Like at the same time, it's like all you want. It's the weirdest thing. Because you're exhausted and you're like I'm gonna die and then literally when they're asleep by 10, I'm like I miss them. Like get it together Khloé, snap out of it.”
