Josh Duggar Is Reportedly Convinced That Anna Is ‘Leaving Him Behind’ While He’s Behind Bars

With more than seven years left of Josh Duggar‘s prison sentence, it sounds like he believes his family may not be there waiting for him when he finally gets home. According to a new report from The Globe, Josh is worried that wife Anna Duggar is “leaving him behind” and beginning a new life without him — one she may not be ready to abandon when he’s released.

Josh reportedly isn’t happy with Anna’s recent lifestyle changes.

Josh has been locked up for nearly four years right now, so it’s no surprise that Anna would have to find another way to support herself (and the couple’s seven children) during this time. She has since started a puppy breeding business, Golden Grove Pups, and a source said that Josh is having doubts about their relationship after seeing how “lucrative” her new venture has become.

“It’s got to be difficult for him to hear she’s living high on the hog, treating herself to luxuries she never used to, going out and getting massages and nights out with friends,” the insider told The Globe. “Josh even got wind that she’s redecorating the new house his dad Jim-Bob bought for her for $1 million.”

The idea that she’s having so much fun without him “burns him.”

After all, it’s not like Josh is having fun serving time in federal prison, where the source said he’s “fearful for his life in prison, eating slop and enduring insults from the other inmates.”

Seeing Anna having fun without him reportedly “burns” him, and apparently, it’s leaving him feeling less and less secure about the future of their marriage.

Now, he’s not sure if Anna will be waiting for him when he’s released in 2032.

The source added that while Anna once made regular trips to FCI Seagoville in Texas where Josh is serving time, those visits have become less and less frequent, and now, she “seems happier without him.”

“Anna was and is his whole world. He feels she’s leaving him behind,” the insider said, later adding, “Anna spent the first few months of his sentence moping around and missing him, but she seems to be doing very well without him now.”

It sounds like things have been getting progressively worse for Josh in recent months.

In August, The Sun reported that Josh stated in recently filed court documents that his family had stopped sending him money, leaving him with just 22 cents in his prison bank account at the time.

A lot can change in the next seven years — and a lot has obviously changed for Anna already. Josh’s fears that she’s moving on could be valid, but only time will tell if their marriage outlasts his sentence.
