Millie Bobby Brown Reportedly Accused ‘Stranger Things’ Costar David Harbour of Harassment

Just as Netflix gears up to release the fifth (and final) season of Stranger Things, a new report has surfaced claiming that there may have been some drama going on behind the scenes. According to the Daily Mail, Millie Bobby Brown allegedly accused costar David Harbour of harassment and bullying, prompting an investigation that began as the final season was filming.

The complaint was reportedly filed before filming began.

“Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”

The outcome of the alleged investigation is unknown, though the outlet reported that the accusations did not involve any sexual behavior.

Millie reportedly had a “representative” with her on set.

After filing the complaint, Millie reportedly had a personal representative with her while she filmed the series finale so that she’d be protected on set. Considering the fact that David plays Hopper, Eleven’s adopted dad, it seems like they likely would have had to film scenes together as filming came to a close.

No official comment on the allegations has been issued.

Not only have Millie and David both stayed quiet on this report, but so has Netflix — something that the source was sure to point out.

“The fact they’ve not denied it speaks volumes,” the source said. “Stranger Things helped put Netflix on the map. Millions of fans around the world have been anticipating the finale. No one wants anything to take attention away from that.”

In the past, they seemed to have a good relationship.

During a 2021 appearance on the That Scene With Dan Patrick podcast, David talked about how protective he felt over Millie.

“Millie and I have always had sort of a special relationship because I knew her when she was so young. I knew her before any of this big fame hit,” he said at the time. “I have a real protective feeling for her. I have a real, like, worry. I worry about her and the fame and all that she has to struggle with. And I’ve just always felt this kind of deep fatherly affection for her.”
