What to Know
If my child ever draws a picture of my body at school and includes the most unflattering version imaginable of my, ahem, parts, it will be at that time that I will go off the grid and no one will hear from me again. If that’s what one mom on TikTok by the name of Mia decides to do, I won’t blame her, because her son’s teacher sent her one such photo that he drew in school.
Like I said, that would be it for me. In Mia’s son’s picture, he drew her using the bathroom and it is painfully obvious what part of her body he decided to draw without any clothes on. It’s also such an unflattering version of Mia’s nether regions that I don’t even know how she can face the teacher again. I mean, can she ever?

The kid’s picture of his mom shows just how brutally honest kids are.
In Mia’s TikTok, she shares screenshots of messages between herself and her son’s teacher. The teacher tells her that they just wanted her to be aware of what her son drew and that someone explained to him that the picture is not appropriate for school.
But when Mia asked what her son was trying to draw, even after seeing the picture, the teacher replied that Mia’s son said it’s a picture of his “Mommy using the bathroom.”
Girl, bye. I’m embarrassed and it wasn’t even me that this happened to.
The picture is what really brings it all home, though. Sometimes, the innocence of kids is just too much, and Mia’s son’s picture of her, bottomless and apparently going potty, is, at the same time, innocent and hilarious with his depiction of what his mom looks like from memory in such a compromising position.
“Back in my day we used to just draw a sun at the corner of the page,” one user commented on the TikTok.
Someone else pointed out that the teacher knew well and good what the picture was, but that they just had to send a photo of the drawn picture.
“The teacher messy ’cause she just wanted to let you know that SHE knows about Garfield,” they commented.
Mia wrote in the caption that she can’t even go to the bathroom “in peace,” and she is so many of us moms who share the bathroom, kitchen, bed, and every other space in the home with one or more tiny humans who love us too much to give us any personal space.
It’s a blessing and a curse, really.
Or, in Mia’s case, sometimes more of a curse, given her son’s depiction of her body.
Another TikTok user wrote under the video, “That image really stuck in his mind for him to draw it. And I know it’s after you asked to use the bathroom in peace.”
However, the best advice of all might be from someone who shared, “You gotta pick up and move to another location and school district.”
