Nikodem Marecki, a child actor in Poland, died following a tragic accident on November 26, 2025. As Nikodem got off his school bus, a passing vehicle struck him. The news of the 11-year-old’s death has shocked the entertainment community and those who loved him.
GB News reported that emergency responders arrived at the accident scene shortly thereafter. “The report indicated it involved a young person who remained conscious,” a fire department spokesman said, per GB News.
First responders knew the seriousness of the situation. “Due to the nature of the incident, the Polish Air Rescue Service (LPR) was dispatched to the scene, and its officers secured the landing area, which facilitated the efficient transfer of the teenager to hospital,” the spokesman added.
Emergency personnel took Nikodem to an area hospital where doctors attempted to save his life. Despite their efforts, he died on November 27.
Joanna Liszowska, who portrayed Nikodem’s mother on the television series Szpital św. Anny, shared a touching tribute on Instagram.
“No words can express what I feel after your sudden departure. Do you remember? I often joked, that if I had a son I would want him to be just like you,” she wrote in her post, according to an English translation. “Bright, intelligent, cheerful, imaginative, witty, mischievous, yet so sensitive and warm. You were so special. I was just your serial mom, and when I write this I’m crying again. I can’t imagine the pain your Parents and Family are feeling and I give them a very tight hug.”
Fans and loved ones shared condolences on Nikodem’s final Instagram post from early November.
“Play now among the angels. So heart is breaking,” one message reads.
“Oh my God !!! Condolences to the parents & family. What a horrific tragedy,” another person shared.
This must be devastating for Nikodem’s family, especially so close to the holidays. Hopefully, they will continue to feel his presence during this unimaginably difficult time.
