Apparently, Lauren Sánchez, Jeff Bezos’ second wife, has decided to put love first when it comes to matchmaking some of her very famous friends. Although not everyone is super keen on the idea because they’re unsure just how secure her marriage to Jeff actually is.

It turns out that when you marry one of the world’s richest billionaires, you may start to feel like you want to share the wealth in terms of helping other people find love.
According to Stylecaster, former journalist Lauren Sánchez reportedly introduced none other than Katy Perry and the former Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau. If you’ve seen photos of the couple together on social media, they actually seem very cute and happy, so the matchmaking seems to have gone well.
She also reportedly hooked up with model Brooks Nader and Rocketman star Taron Egerton. A source told the outlet that Brooks “told her good pal to set her up with a cute guy,” and when Lauren suggested Taron, “Brooks flipped because he’s so hot and talented.”

Despite being a bona fide matchmaker in her social circle, her own marriage could now be past the “honeymoon phase.”
It turns out that if you’re at all in Lauren Sánchez’s orbit and single, she may try to set you up. The Daily Mail reported that “everyone these days goes to Lauren, she is like a matchmaker now because, between her friends and Jeff’s friends, they know a ton of eligible bachelors and they are cool, they will introduce people for sure.”
Unfortunately for the elite couple, not everything stays lovey-dovey forever. According to the Hollywood insider Rob Shuter, who shared on his Substack, now that Lauren and Jeff have been married for a minute, things may be feeling a little different for the pair.
A source told the gossip columnist that “everything changed the moment they got married. The honeymoon phase is over.”
Ouch. Not even married for a full year and things are already cooling off?
Not everyone is convinced that this pair is in it for the long haul.
They may be all smiles when they’re hitting red carpets or setting up their friends on dates, but not everyone is convinced that Lauren and Jeff should be everyone’s example of true love.
According to Rob Shuter’s Substack, there was a moment at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party when Lauren “was caught on camera giving Bezos a noticeably icy look,” which immediately made people question whether their relationship could be on the rocks.
An insider shared with the gossip columnist that the “look wasn’t nothing” because “there’s tension there.” Another insider revealed that “people close to them are giving this marriage a year — max.” Well, that’s not very romantic, is it?
The thing about when romance becomes public, especially when there is lots of money involved, when there is the least little bit of tension, people start talking. We’ll have to wait and see what happens!
