Called “one of the most engaging watches on TikTok” by Elle Canada, Abby Baffoe has garnered over 1.4 million followers on the social media platform and it just keeps on growing. Most of her viral videos stem are fashion and beauty related, so maybe that’s why it was such a surprise to her followers that the outfit that she wore to the Masters 2026 Tournament last weekend was deemed “disrespectful” and not at all “country club attire.” But, as ever the resilient influencer, who is probably very used to negative online commentary, Abby decided to clap back at the backlash that came with her distinct outfit choice she wore to the prestigious golf tournament.

Some might say that when you’re 30 years old, you still might not know any better, but we’re just not sure that’s true.
Online creator, Abby Baffoe, who has over 500,000 followers on Instagram and over a million on TikTok, shared a very typical TikTok video that most influencers share almost daily. She posted a short montage-style video that featured a voiceover to help set the scene. It said, “From the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.” Her video caption read, “Masters 2026 outfit” with a couple of cute emojis representing a day of watching the Masters Tournament.
She starts out the video in some silky pajamas and before you know it, she’s twirling around in what appears to be a vintage Chanel shirt with a preppy sweater over her shoulders, a pair of white shorts that don’t leave much to the imagination, a baseball cap, sunglasses, sneakers, and a black Chanel purse. Let’s just say, it’s not what your mother or grandmother would wear to a golf tourny.
Who ever said the Masters Tournament wasn’t a fashion show for their guests sure didn’t speak to Abby!
The comments on the video point out that Abby likely made a mistake when planning her outfit for that occasion.
If you head to the comment section in Abby’s TikTok video, you will find a plethora of insults and commentary about how this 30-year-old influencer probably should have opted for something a little more modest and buttoned up for the golf event.
One person kept things classy by stating, “Class is knowing how to dress for the moment, not dressing to be seen.” That’s actually a great point. There are days when it’s all about the outfit and having a fashion moment, and there are days when you should perhaps try to blend in a little more and realize it’s not about you. Also, for an event like this, there’s likely a dress code that the establishment appreciates patrons sticking to.
Another individual left a humorous comment that’s maybe trying to be helpful. They wrote, “Ma’am, that is a MATCHA outfit, not a masters outfit.” We would have to agree that her outfit would have been way more appropriate to meet a friend for a coffee.
Another person mocked her golf spectator ensemble with just four words. “Honey. Country club attire,” they wrote. Need we say more?
As confident as ever, Abby decided to post a video to clap back at all the fashion police dragging.

There’s nothing like a public figure admitting to their poor judgment, but doing so with a little bit of humor.
Abby shared another video on TikTok with the caption “Won worst dressed Masters 2026,” but she certainly didn’t come out like a puppy with its tail between their legs. She’s seen in the video walking down the sidewalk with a bit of a swagger holding up a peace sign and sticking her tongue out in a cheeky fashion to Miranda Lambert lyrics that state, “Well, I’ve been saved by the grace of Southern charm.”
The caption to the video said, “When you wake up getting cancelled for your Masters outfit.” Okay, we wouldn’t go that far, girl.
