NFL Influencer Annie Agar Responds to Fans’ Concerns About Her Health

Influencer Annie Agar is best known for sharing her takes on all things NFL during football season, but now, she has people talking for a reason that has nothing to do with sports. New photos Annie shared with her more than 600k Instagram followers that show her body has changed have fans concerned that she’s unhealthy, and now, Annie is speaking out after she’s been accused of secretly using Ozempic to lose weight.

The most recent comments on Annie’s posts are full of concern (and plenty of unwanted opinions about her body).

One of the posts that seems to have stirred up the most buzz about her body shows Annie while fishing, holding up a fish she caught while wearing short denim shorts and a camo tank top. But instead of celebrating her catch (or fully appreciating the joke she cracked about Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy in her caption), her followers were more focused on her changing appearance — and they weren’t exactly showering her with compliments, either.

“I’m unfollowing you because I don’t like looking at skeletons. Maybe I’ll follow again during football season when you’re wearing the team jerseys,” one person wrote.

Others accused her of using Ozempic or other GLP-1 drugs, and many insinuated that her weight loss was unhealthy. “Sad to watch,” another commenter added. “Your pics from a couple years ago were so beautiful, when you looked healthy.”

Annie swears she’s not using Ozempic — or any other weight loss drug.

Annie quickly addressed the comments in a video she posted the following day, explaining that not only is she not taking Ozempic, but she would also be too afraid to take it because of her concerns with the side effects of all medications, including over the counter meds like Tylenol.

Instead, she said she’s relying on “calories in, calories out” to lose weight.

“I cut out refined sugar and alcohol,” she explained. “I do drink maybe once a week — sometimes, if there’s a country concert, a little bit more. It depends on the week. But I cut out all refined sugar, and I don’t drink, and I eat whole foods. And I incline walk. It’s changed my life.”

She also admitted that the comments about her body do get to her, adding, “I’ve been known to have a bad day or two with comments. So just know that I see them.”

Not everyone is buying her explanation, though.

The comments on her video are better, but there are still people who are committed to not believing her, including one who wrote, “I’ve never met an Ozempic user ever admit to using Ozempic. Funny how that works.”

Unfortunately, there’s probably nothing that Annie can do to convince anyone that she isn’t using a weight loss drug who has their mind set to believe it — not that it was ever their business in the first place. Can we please stop making unsolicited comments about people’s bodies now?
