As the wife of a retired Super Bowl winner Jason Kelce, Kylie Kelce has made a name for herself in the podcasting world. And after she interviewed Hilary Duff about her Sports Illustrated photoshoot as a mom of four, people began to wonder if Kylie herself would ever pose for the magazine. She has four kids with husband Jason, and she knows a thing or two about athletics.
But the Not Gonna Lie podcast host set the record straight when she spoke about the idea of ever posting on a swimsuit or, in her words, “naked,” for the magazine. Unfortunately, fans probably won’t ever see her pose for the iconic magazine in a spread on the beach, and she explained why.
Kylie Kelce has no interest in this kind of career milestone.
When Kylie referenced her lack of a desire to ever pose for Sports Illustrated, it was in response to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition that came out featuring Hilary Duff, Tiffany Haddish, Alix Earle, and Nicole Williams English. But for Kylie, nothing could convince her to pose for the magazine, regardless of how much clothes she could keep on.
“Guys, how do I say this nicely? No, thank you. Absolutely not,” Kylie said on her podcast. She also admitted that she barely likes having her photo taken as it is, let alone half-baked. Or, in this case, in a swimsuit. “I think it goes without saying that if I don’t like having my photo taken clothed, I’m probably not gonna like my photo taken naked. You know what I mean?”
People are divided on how they feel about her.
Maybe some of Kylie’s fans have urged her to consider posing for the magazine if she is ever given the opportunity. But so far, it doesn’t sound like she has been given an official offer. So why did she feel the need to comment on whether or not she would pose for Sports Illustrated? Not sure, but there is a clear divide on Kylie Kelce’s fans and haters in general. It might have stemmed from Kylie’s 2025 comments about hiring a babysitter every time she leaves the house, even if Jason is home.
On a Reddit thread about it, someone wrote, “Her husband doesn’t watch any of their 3 kids, so why not have a 4th! I’m not sure the obsession people have with Kylie. She’s just as thirsty as the rest of that family, imo.”
Another person commented, “This. I’ve been side eyeing her ever since I heard the story about the night they met. Man was so drunk that he passed out AT THE BAR and she said thats hubby material? Nah. She was always in it for the NFL stuff.”
However, fans of Kylie have credited her for being “a breath of fresh air.” And there are plenty of sports fans and even non-NFL watchers who have a soft spot for both Jason and Kylie.
Another person commented on the YouTube post of her podcast episode with Hilary and wrote, “Who thinks Kylie should get a cover on Sports Illustrated? NGL I think she would look BADASS!!”
Brittany Mahomes did want to pose for the magazine, though.
The ship might have also sailed on Kylie getting a call from Sports Illustrated to pose for the magazine since, technically, she is no longer an NFL wife now that Jason has retired. But Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, did indeed pose for the magazine.
In February 2026, Brittany was in the Swimsuit Edition digitally and she made waves for her photo spread. But when it comes to Kylie, no amount of attention or exposure for her personal brand would be enough to convince her to do the same.
