Editor’s Picks: June 2026

Summer is basically knocking at the door, and honestly? We are ready. The kids are winding down the school year, the days are getting longer, and we are already dreaming about road trips, pool days, and all the warm-weather adventures ahead. But between planning for the family and keeping the kids entertained, we also know how easy it is to forget about ourselves in the mix. But we are not doing that this month! We’ve rounded up some things we are genuinely loving right now: some are for us, some are for the kids, and some are just smart finds that make daily life a little easier and a lot more fun.

This is the smarter way to keep tabs on your family without feeling like you’re running a surveillance operation: HeyPolo is a game changer. Built by the team behind Surfshark, one of the world’s leading VPN providers, the app lets every family member, including kids, see each other’s locations, with built-in privacy controls so no one feels constantly watched. Unlike other tracking apps that default to always-on monitoring and sell your data, HeyPolo keeps everything private and gives users full control over when, how, and with whom they share their location. You can even choose between sharing your exact location, a general area, or going fully private. Bonus: set arrival alerts so you actually get to sleep before your teenager gets home. Plans start at $3.99/month for unlimited connections.

Eli & Elm Side Sleeper Pillow

Pregnancy turned me into a side sleeper. I used to happily slumber along on my belly or back all night, but I broke those habits when I was growing my kiddos and even though it’s been years, I still find myself sleeping most consistently on my side… and dealing with the awful neck pain caused by it. I have tried countless pillows to accommodate my side-sleeping ways and none have quite done the trick. I recently decided to try the Eli & Elm Side Sleeper Pillow however, and I’ve been loving it. It mostly looks like a normal pillow, but it has a slight u-shape that cradles your shoulder so your neck can rest undisturbed. One of my favorite features the adjustable fill. You can actually remove or add fill to best suit your body shape and size. Plus, it features a cooling design and you can also purchase an optional cooling pillowcase.

With the cost of literally everything being so high, this summer we are all about the family road trip. Only thing is, keeping kids from fussing and fighting in the car for hours on end without relying on screens the entire time is still just as hard — or maybe even harder — than ever. The only thing to do is make sure you’re prepared with lots of alternative activities. We love to get a few brand-new and novel things for every road trip. This summer, the book Factopia! Follow the Trail of 400 Facts, is one that should be on your shopping list. We recently made a nine-hour trek to visit friends for Memorial Day Weekend, and my 10-year-old kept herself (and the rest of us) entertained and interested reading and sharing facts from this fun tome for at least an hour. “Did you know that a squid has a brain shaped like a doughnut?” Um, no. Or that “newborn brains have about 270 bones?” Us either. This book is fully illustrated in color and it’s interactive, so your kiddo can learn those facts and more without getting bored.

Floatley Cozy Adjustable Bra

I have been living in the Floatley Cozy Adjustable Bra lately. Since I work from home, I don’t need a crazy amount of support from a bra on a daily basis and I definitely prioritize comfort over pretty much anything else. But, I’ve actually found myself reaching for this bra even when I’m headed out for the day. It soft, smooth, and actually offers great support without feeling like it. It’s wireless, but still totally supportive, even for a large bust size and the straps are adjustable so you can boost the lift a bit whenever you want to. It’s available in a bunch of colors and sizes X-Small – XX-Large.

Like many parents, I have loved Hannah Andersson pajamas for my kids for years. But they also make great clothing basics for kids. Their new kids’ poplin sets for summer, are a great new addition to the line. My daughter has the poplin beach pants and sleeveless top and loves to wear it when she wants to dress up a little without actually wearing a dress. It’s comfy, made from breathable, lightweight cotton, and it’s stylish. And, it comes in four adorable prints summer-inspired prints.

Polar Joe Protein Coffee

These days every product in the grocery store seems to have a protein-added version. It’s starting to border on overkill, especially since a lot of them still aren’t actually a significant source of protein. As someone who works out a lot and does legitimately try to prioritize getting enough protein in every day, I prefer to rely on clean protein sources like meat, beans, and legumes, but when I need to fill in the gaps, I rely on high-quality protein shakes. My favorites of late are the Polar Joe Protein Cold Brew and Polar Joe Matcha Pro-Tea. I love these protein powders because they taste amazing, have 21 grams of premium whey protein for just 190 calories per serving, and because they are caffeinated, the drink can replace your morning or afternoon latte. If you’re trying to lose weight and stay in a calorie deficit, this is a big plus, since you’ll cut some calories from your day compared to having the latte and a separate protein shake.

Nood Shape-Up Adhesive Bra

As someone who lives in backless and strapless tops all summer, I am always on the hunt for an adhesive bra that actually works without making me feel like I’m taping myself together with packing tape. With the Nood Shape-Up Adhesive Bra, which is made from their signature ultra-thin SkinFinish™ matte silicone, I can do this and not think twice. This bra is genuinely invisible under even the sheerest tops: no weird edges, no bumps, no thinking twice about my straps showing or the sides digging in and displaying the ever so cute back rolls. It gives just the right amount of lift and cleavage for small to medium busts, holds up all day, and is 100% waterproof, so it’s pool-party ready. Best of all, with proper care it’s reusable 50+ times, which means it’s a smart investment for your whole summer wardrobe.

If you’re someone who deals with breakouts — or has a teen who does — these pads are a serious game-changer to keep in the medicine cabinet. QRxLabs’ Glycolic/Salicylic Acid 10/2 Acne Control Pads combine both AHA and BHA acids in one convenient pre-soaked pad to unclog pores, exfoliate dead skin, and fight excess oil without leaving your skin dry. Each jar comes with 50 fully saturated pads, and the little finger-notch design makes them so easy to grab and use. Just wipe over clean skin and let dry. They also help fade post-acne marks and work to improve overall skin texture and tone over time. I use these on my back and they have been life-changing.

GUND Snuffles Soother

Anyone with a little one who struggles to settle down knows the power of the right comfort object. The GUND Snuffles Soother takes the brand’s classic, beloved Snuffles bear — a GUND icon since 1980, with that signature crescent-moon shape that’s literally designed to hug back — and upgrades it into the ultimate sleep and soothing companion. This 9-inch teddy bear has nine different sound modes, including soothing heartbeat sounds and vibrations, three timer settings (10, 30, and 60 minutes), and up to 60 minutes of continuous play to make nap time and bedtime so much easier. The hug-activated feature means kids just have to squeeze for instant comfort and volume controls are a lifesaver whether you’re at home trying not to wake a sleeping baby or on a long car ride.

XTRATUF Sesame Street TUFS Kids' Ankle Deck Boot

Okay, we are absolutely obsessed with these and so are our kids. XTRATUF — the brand known for making some of the toughest waterproof boots around — teamed up with Sesame Street to create the most adorable (and actually functional) rain boot for little ones. Available in Cookie Monster Blue and Elmo Red, these slip-on ankle boots are 100% waterproof, lightweight, and made from BioLite, an eco-friendlier high-performance EVA foam that’s also slip-resistant. They’ve got built-in ridges inside the front and back so kids can pull them on and off independently — which, if you’ve ever wrestled rain boots onto a 4-year-old, you know is a total win. At just $58, they’re sturdy enough for puddles, muddy parks, and beach days, but cute enough that your kid will actually want to wear them. Honestly, we kind of wish they came in adult sizes.

Coppertone Kids

If your little one is obsessed with Moana — and honestly, whose kid isn’t? — this is going to be the most exciting sunscreen they’ve ever seen. Coppertone just launched a limited-edition Moana Kids Collection, and it is adorable. But beyond the cute packaging, this is still the same Coppertone formula that moms have trusted for years — it’s the number one pediatrician recommended sunscreen brand, plus it offers 80 minutes of water resistance, which means it can keep up with even the most determined little ocean explorer at the pool, beach, or splash pad. Getting kids to cooperate for sunscreen application is half the battle, and something tells us Moana on the bottle is going to help with that.
