Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are potentially weeks away from making their way down the aisle, but one golf WAG isn’t letting their engagement stop her from shooting her shot. In an interview with People, Jena Sims, who is married to pro golfer Brooks Koepka, admitted that Travis is her “hall pass,” and she’s getting absolutely eviscerated in the comments for saying that out loud.
When it comes to her crush on Travis, Jena did not hold back.
While talking to People for their WAG World series, Jena had to open up about some of her Instagram posts, which led her to copping to her giant crush on the Kansas City Chiefs player.
“I mean, he’s my hall pass and Brooks knows that,” Jena admitted.
For those who may not be familiar with the term, someone’s “hall pass” is a person (usually a celebrity) who someone would be allowed to cheat on their partner with just once if the opportunity presented itself. You know, assuming that the celebrity in question would also be interested.
She’s had real life encounters with Travis before.
Since Jena is married to a professional athlete herself, it’s not surprising to find out that she’s had the chance to meet Travis in the past — though it doesn’t sound like any funny business occurred.
Swipe over on this Instagram post that Jena shared in February. She got to come face to face with Travis when her husband, Brooks, played with him at the Annexus Pro-Am golf tournament earlier this year, and even Brooks knew just how long she spent trying to pick out the perfect outfit to wear for the big day.
“He was so nice, so sweet,” she said. “He met our nanny. He met [my son] Crew, obviously Brooks, he played with Brooks, that’s how I met him.”
Jena shared that when she saw Travis again at the Masters this year, he actually remembered meeting her. “At the Masters this past year, he came straight up to me and was like, ‘Hey, it’s good to see you again.’ I’m like, ‘Oh my God. You remember?'”
Jena is getting eaten alive in the comments.
Commenters on People’s reel that features Jena think it’s very weird that she would mention an engaged man is her hall pass. People are really, truly offended by this.
“You couldn’t waterboard this out of me. Yikes,” one Taylor fan wrote.
Another added, “This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. He’s literally getting married. I mean, this is psychotic.”
To be fair to Jena, she’s also happily taken (married with a child, mind you), and it’s perfectly normal to have a celebrity crush — especially since Jena said she would never actually risk her marriage for Travis or anyone else.
“I like my setup. I have a pretty good setup. I won’t change it for the world,” she told People.
See? Everything is chill! Nobody is stealing Taylor’s man.
