Viral NYC Park Kiss Has Turned Into One of the Internet’s Biggest Office Gossip Stories

If you think back to about a year ago, you can probably recall the absolute frenzy that took over social media on the day when the now viral video hit everyone’s feeds revealing the secret office couple canoodling at a Coldplay concert. Even if you had mixed feelings about the what that camera captured that day, it was nothing if not entertaining.

Cut to late July 2026 and the internet is hooked on another viral video that’s rumored to have caught another secret office romance involving two lawyers making out right in the middle of Central Park. With a little research, the internet has even been able to cough up with some names and the prestigous law firm where the pair allegedly work. Seriously, it is beyond juicy!

Seriously, guys. There’s kids around. Let’s take things down a notch.

Sitting at nearly 4 million views on this video alone, popular TikToker Jay Guapõ was apparently hanging out or simply making his way through Central Park in New York City when he stumbled upon a couple on a bench just going to town making out.

As Jay can be seen full-on rolling his eyes at the camera before he confronts the couple — who are looking rather dressed up for a casual makeout session in the park — he tells them to “get a room” as there are children present. A totally valid point.

Almost immediately, the couple look quite shell-shocked to be caught and filmed in such a precarious situation. Both the man and the woman ask Jay to stop filming them, but he pretty much tries to turn things around on them by noting their inappropriate behavior of making out in such a public place.

The whole interaction is very uncomfortable to take in.

For better or worse, the couple’s names, workplace, and marital statuses have since been revealed.

People were immediately leaving loads of comments on this TikTok video assuming things like, “oh they’re having an affair” and “The work attire, the weird location, the age gap,” and it turns out they were likely correct!

According to the New York Post, the pair have been identified as 45-year-old Nathaniel D. Cullerton and 29-year-old, Kelsey Borenzweig who work at the same high-profile Manhattan law firm, Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.

The Post was able to confirm the couple’s identities from their headshots on the firm’s website. It turns out that Cullerton is a partner at the law firm, which obviously puts him in a higher position of power, while Borenzweig is an associate, which makes sense looking at her age.

The big question on a lot of people’s minds tends to be whether or not this couple was nervous about getting caught due to their careers in law or if they were married or involved with someone else at the time?

According to the Daily Mail, it appears that Cullerton is likely married to another lawyer in the city who works for a different law firm and Borenzweig was recently in a relationship with a judicial law clerk as there has been photos on social media of her cuddling with a man who is not a senior lawyer at her place of work. This is seriously all sorts of scandalous!

Some people are not okay with the clear invasion of one’s privacy here as they were filmed without consent.

On a separate level, this whole thing raises the very important question about living in this extreme digital age where we are constantly under surveillance and whether or not it was actually okay for someone like Jay Guapõ to go up to these people and start filming them without their consent. And furthermore, posting it to the internet for everyone to see and comment on!

Someone on X reposted the original story shared by the New York Post and stated, “This isn’t controversial. Let people make out on benches and arrest the people who film them. Have we all lost our minds.”

There are others in this Reddit thread who tend to agree that what happened here really wasn’t right. One person shared, “Recording strangers in public and posting it on your Instagram is weird.”

Another person wrote, “OMG just leave people the f— alone.” Another individual in Jay’s TikTok comments couldn’t help but call him out. They commented, “Even though they are probably in the wrong. Why are you recording strangers in an intimate moment and posting it on the internet.”

What are your thoughts? Sure, it doesn’t look good for this pair to be making out in public, especially when they may be romantically involved with someone else, but what about a person’s right to privacy? That should still count for something, right?
