Growing up in the royal family can't be easy — especially as a kid who doesn't quite understand the importance of his duties just yet (or why he and his parents are always being photographed). And although we've seen plenty of times where Prince George and Princess Charlotte remained sweet, we actually see them scheming together far more often … and we can only hope Kate Middleton and Prince William are prepared to handle whatever plots these two manage to come up with when they put their heads together.
Here are all the times that George and Charlotte have looked like they were plotting something together. If nothing else, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge should be glad that their kids have been so tight since the beginning — but really, we have a feeling they just want to get through one big family event or wedding without these troublemakers pulling out the big guns.
And now that Prince Louis is here, we can only imagine they're going to end up recruiting him to join their team … and even cousin Archie may not be safe. Like we said before, being royal doesn't keep these kids from acting like kids, but at least they're well dressed while they're getting in trouble with their parents!
We can't wait to see their friendship as brother and sister continues to grow as they get older. We have a feeling that in a couple of years, these two are going to turn into even more of a handful than they are already — and that's saying a lot.
But hey, at least they're super cute!
Wedding Day Scheming
Not even Princess Eugenie's wedding was safe from George and Charlotte's plotting! Between George's giggle and Charlotte's sly look, it seems like something was definitely in the works. If only we could know for sure what they were talking about when this photo was taken!
Planning Something at the Polo Game
We know these are just for fun, but there's no way we'd hand a kid as mischievous as George a pair of handcuffs — toy or not. Their mom might be right there, but we don't doubt they're planning on using those handcuffs in a way Kate would not approve of. Watch out, everyone living in Kensington Palace!
Playing ... or Are They?
Whenever George and Charlotte are off on their own, it's probably safe to assume that there's a scheme brewing. They might look like they're innocently playing here, but we know them better than that. These two are definitely up to something.
Plotting From the Start
Charlotte may have been less than a year old when this photo was taken (and hidden away in her bassinet) but that didn't stop them! George and Charlotte have been in cahoots since day one. We're not sure what he's telling Charlotte, but it's gotta be something good.
On the Go
Even when Charlotte and George are in transit, they still don't stop their scheming! We have no doubt in our minds that they're planning how they're going to misbehave once they're allowed to get off the plane. Kids will be kids!
Off in the Distance
Remember what we said about watching out when these two are on their own? Yup, this is definitely one of those times! Taken during a charity polo match in summer 2019, it seems as if George and Charlotte were trying to find a way to pass the time that their parents almost certainly wouldn't approve of!
Up To Something
We've seen these kids get a lot of lectures out on the tarmac, and it appears they're both working on the next way they're going to get in trouble. We can just tell by their faces that something's about to go down. Poor Kate!
Bored at the Regatta
Even when they get to hang out on a boat for the day and watch their mom race, George and Charlotte still get bored. Hey, they might be royal, but it doesn't stop them from being regular kids. Looks like they were totally over the regatta here!
Three Troublemakers
Now that Louis is part of their gang, it's about time they start including him in their scheming. Not only is this shot of all three of them in the window super adorable, but we also know they're planning something here, too. Whoever's below better watch out!
Completely Over It
Here they are again, trying to behave on their mom's lap … and it just ain't happening. By the looks on their faces, we're pretty sure these two are about to run wild. We hope Kate's prepared to chase after them in those shoes.

With the way George is climbing in this car, we have a feeling he's about to take something out to aid in his latest plan. It looks like he and Charlotte are definitely working as a team on this one. We don't trust George when he looks that happy.
Over It in Berlin
Most of us look pretty cranky when we get off of flights, so we can't blame these two for not being into it. If they're deciding not to behave in Berlin, well, we'll have to admit we're not that surprised. They sure do look cute, though!
Getting a Lecture From Mom
From the look on George's face, it seems as if he's not happy about whatever Kate's telling him. We get that Trooping the Colour is probably a boring event, but he's just gotta hang in there. And in the meantime, he and Charlotte are already getting in trouble.

George and Charlotte were certainly a scheming pair on this big day. Back to Princess Eugenie's wedding, it seems like they were definitely up to something waiting for the ceremony to begin. Maybe this has to do with the giggly photos that were taken once they made it inside?

Someone's in trouble … and it looks like their names are George and Charlotte! Kate definitely looks beyond upset here. This only makes us wonder what exactly these two just pulled to get their mom so upset!
