Anna Duggar Was Reportedly Complicit in Josh’s Cellphone Violation Behind Bars

Josh Duggar is facing some serious consequences after being caught with a contraband cellphone while in federal lockup, but apparently, Anna was in on it the whole time. At least, that's the latest intel we have on the situation … and despite her involvement, it seems like the incident has driven a wedge between the couple.

Anna may have 'willingly engaged' with Josh on his secret cellphone.

According to what a source inside FCI Seagoville told Duggar critic Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball, Anna was well aware that Josh wasn't supposed to have access to a cellphone, but it didn't stop her from using the number to stay in contact with her husband while he had it in his possession.

And though the source claims Anna's still "standing by her man," something in their relationship has definitely changed.

Now, there's a noticeable difference in their communication.

"She’s not sending money, books or gifts like she used to, and Josh is relying more on his mom to fill his commissary bank account," the insider said.

Even so, Anna reportedly still believes that Josh is innocent — even though sources inside the prison claim that he talks about her disrespectfully to fellow inmates.

Anna is reportedly absorbed in reading news stories about Josh.

The insider stated that Anna is often the first to find new news stories and reports about Josh since he began serving his sentence, and she fills Josh in on what the media is saying.

Katie Joy also claimed that she has reason to believe the Duggars are working to plant certain stories in the news too.

Josh reportedly had to 'rent' the contraband phone.

Apparently, within a system the prisoners have created, they can buy a phone for $2,200 or rent one, and because Josh couldn't cough up the cash to buy, he was forced to rent.

"Anna didn’t smuggle Josh a phone and didn’t know he was using a phone until he allegedly called her on a phone," Katie Joy reported. "Josh allegedly told Anna that using the phones was illegal and demanded she 'keep her mouth shut.'"

Ouch.

This news comes on the heels of a report that Josh may be intimately involved with a fellow prisoner.

Over the weekend, Without a Crystal Ball reported that Josh supposedly "has a love interest on the inside," though she didn't expand more on what that might mean.

This is all very interesting — and obviously paints a very different picture of the man Josh portrayed himself to be while starring on 19 Kids & Counting with his family years ago.
