Power Ranger Hector David Rivera Has an Arrest Warrant for Allegedly Shoving Elderly Man

A Power Rangers actor, Hector David Rivera, currently has a misdemeanor warrant issued for his arrest. The actor, who is professionally known as Hector David Jr., played the Green Samurai Ranger in the Power Rangers movie franchise from 2011 to 2015, was identified in an alleged battery of an elderly man in a dispute over a handicap parking space, according to authorities. A truck linked to Rivera was parked in a spot for people with disabilities at the District 208 shopping center in Nampa, Idaho. A man reportedly confronted him, according to city police spokesperson Carmen Boeger.

It was all caught on camera.

The victim, a man in his 60s who uses a walker, took photos of the truck's license plate. According to a video seen by authorities, a man is seen pushing the victim to the ground and standing over him. Boeger said that the man uttered “harsh words” to the victim.

The Nampa police shared a Facebook post to get help identifying the man.

"After pushing the man down, the suspect left him on the ground and drove away in a raised up black 4 door truck with Texas license plate," the Nampa Police Department wrote in a Facebook post. "You can see part of the truck in the video. In an update, the department added, "The man who was battered was helped up and he is going to be ok."

The dashcam footage and the public helped identify Rivera.

Investigators identified Rivera through the help of dashcam video, along with their request for the public's help. The actor has not yet turned himself in nor has he been found by authorities.

The investigation is still ongoing.

The Nampa Police Department posted an update to its Facebook after identifying Rivera. "UPDATE on yesterdays battery video: #CommunityCrimeFighters – THANK YOU for all of your help on this case!" it read. "The investigation is ongoing, but we wanted you to know he has been IDENTIFIED!"

People of the community weighed in.

People of the Nampa community praised the NPD in the comments of the Facebook post.

"So proud of NPD and blessed to live in this community…I hope the man with the walker is okay," one person wrote.

"Nice work as always NPD!" another person commented. "Hope he gets the harshest charges possible, as well as providing a good explanation on why he was parked in a handicapped parking spot."
