Who says you can’t be a mother well into your 50s? That’s exactly the case for “Boy Meets World” actress Trina McGee as she revealed that she’s pregnant, with her fourth child, at 54-years-old. The “Boy Meets World” alum, who played Angela Moore on the hit 1990s sitcom, announced the shocking news Monday in an Instagram post.
“At the tender age of 54 I have found myself pregnant,” she shared in a post set to the song “Baby Love” by The Supremes. “Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery. Thank you.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, there is a higher risk of complications that could result in a C-section delivery in pregnancies after age 35, and “babies born to older mothers have a higher risk of certain chromosomal conditions, such as Down syndrome.”
Additionally, the risk of pregnancy loss also increases with age.
In 2023, data released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention showed that the number of births by women aged 45 and older rose by 12% from 2021 to 2022.
