Brittany Mahomes Tells Social Media Trolls To ‘Go Back to Where You Came From’

Brittany Mahomes is no stranger to haters. Being married to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has put her family in the public eye, which means she always has to deal with the opinions of strangers. By now, it seems that Brittany has been able to learn how to not let them get to her — in fact, she is often very open about how she has learned not to let haters and trolls get her down. But she’s still a human being with feelings, and after receiving an influx of rude comments, she took the opportunity to remind her social media followers of that.

Brittany has no trouble clapping back at her haters.

This week, she shared a post on Instagram Stories addressing the uptick in “rude people” that she’s noticed lately who are using the app.

“Recently there has been ALOT more rude a– people on here, waaaay more [than] normal,” she wrote. “I’m not sure where y’all came from, but you should probably go back to where you came from … please.”

This isn't the first time she's clapped back this week.

This time, Brittany’s also taking on haters who aren’t even hers. Over the weekend, she used her Instagram Stories to mock the men who are hating on her new friend Taylor Swift.

A New England baker made cookies for the luxury suite referencing the comments Taylor made in her recent Time interview that called out “dads, Brads, and Chads” who get mad when she’s shown on camera during Chiefs games. Brittany took a photo of one of the cookies, sharing it to throw a little low-key shade to the trolls out there.

Brittany has stopped letting negativity get to her.

In an August Q&A on Instagram, Brittany answered a question about how she feels “when people continue to talk [badly] about” her.

“It used to yes. But not anymore. I could give two s—s about people’s opinion of me that don’t even know me,” she wrote, adding a peace sign emoji.

She has always been open about the difficulty of being in the public eye.

Brittany talked about the stress of being in the public eye when she and her husband were featured in the Netflix docuseries Quarterback.

“I was not prepared for this,” she shared. “And at such a young age. We were in love and I loved him with all of my heart. But, you know, I didn’t expect it to skyrocket this soon and us kind of just being thrown into the fire like this.”

Brittany has never been one to let a rude comment slide.

Back in 2021, Brittany clapped back with no problem at a troll who left a rude comment on one of her Instagram posts.

“She most definitely twenty years from now is gonna be on some real house wifes of athletes type of show because for real what does she actually do,” the comment read.

Brittany simply replied, “And you follow me why?”
