Jason Duggar Marries Maddie Grace in Fall-Themed Wedding

It’s been a busy season for weddings in the Duggar family. After Jana Duggar and Stephen Wissmann tied the knot in August, it’s now Jason Duggar‘s turn to say “I do.” This week, Jason married Maddie Grace in a fall-themed wedding in the Tennessee mountains, and though they connected less than a year ago, it didn’t take long for the couple to realize they’re meant to be.

Jason and Maddie got married on Thursday.

The newlyweds kept their nuptials a secret until after the knot was tied — though that privacy may have been easier to come by because they got married in Tennessee instead of Arkansas, Jason’s home state.

According to People, Jason and Maddie got married at The Estate at Sweetwater Creek with 300 of their loved ones in attendance.

Eight of the Duggar siblings were in the wedding.

On the groom’s side, that included brothers James, Justin, and Jackson as groomsmen, and Jedediah as the best man. The bride included a few of Jason’s sisters in her bridesmaid lineup: Johanna, Jennifer, Jordyn, and Josie.

People reported that, during the ceremony, Jason and Maddie’s guests prayed over their wedding rings after Maddie walked down the aisle to Sleeping at Last’s song “Turning Page.”

They also shared the story of how they met.

Jason told People that back in December 2023, he wanted to show big sister Jana how easy it was to meet people and find a date online, so he tried to show her how he could find someone first.

“Jase found my profile just because he accidentally tapped on the notifications button, he saw my profile picture. He was like, ‘Oh, she’s cute.’ It was definitely a God thing though,” Maddie said. “There’s no way we would’ve found each other. It was just crazy.”

They hit it off right away.

“We really became each other’s best friends and it just kind of built from there. The journey is what has showed us that we are just perfect for each other,” Jason said.

He popped the question at the end of August, and the two are now married only a little over a month later.

Now, the couple is looking forward to 'doing life' together.

The couple plans to make Arkansas their home base but also look forward to traveling together — including their upcoming honeymoon to Italy.

“I think for both of us, we’re pretty simple people really. It’s like just doing life together,” Jason said. “Just being able to enjoy the next seasons of life and just be able to take those next steps.”
