Kevin Costner’s Estranged Wife Agrees to Move Out But Has Some Demands First

Christine Baumgartner stands accused of holding the home she shares with her now-estranged husband, Kevin Costner, hostage amid their divorce drama. Kevin reportedly claims Christine is refusing to leave their extravagant family home unless her demands are met, accusing Christine of asking for certain financial assurances before she moves … and we kind of get where she’s coming from.

Christine is reportedly 'squatting' at the Costner compound.

According to previous statements from Kevin’s legal team, Christine was supposed to move out of the family’s estate within 30 days of filing for divorce.

Christine filed paperwork on May 1, which means she needed to vacate the premises before the end of May. But it’s almost July and she’s still calling their $145 million California estate home.

Kevin claims he's tried to offer Christine money to move out.

TMZ says that Kevin has given his estranged wife $1 million to help her find new digs. Unfortunately for Kevin, it doesn’t seem like Christine is content with such a small sum and she’s asking for a whole lot more from the Yellowstone star … and boy do we mean a whole lot more.

RadarOnline has seen court documents spelling out Christine's demands.

Christine has given her soon-to-be ex-hubby a moving date of August 31, explaining how she’d be more than happy to leave their home in Carpinteria, California, just as soon as she gets final word on the specifics surrounding their divorce settlement.

Mainly, she wants to know exactly what her finances will look like so she knows just how much new home she can afford.

With three kids to consider, Christine's concerns do kind of make sense.

Christine claims to be thinking about the couple’s three kiddos and the type of lifestyle she will need to be able to afford them after she splits from the Dances With Wolves star, which is one of the reasons Christine was seeking an eye popping $248,000 a month in child support.

She should know what a judge thinks soon enough.

Christine and Kevin are set to have their first day in court on July 12. Until then, we’re sure we’ll hear a lot more about these two and what they’re both seeking as part of what stands to be a highly contentious divorce. Hopefully their kids are staying out of the thick of it as much as possible. We can’t imagine things are very friendly at home!
