Kevin Costner’s Estranged Wife Refuses To Leave Their $145 Million Compound

It sounds like the divorce between Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner may not be going to plan. According to the actor, his estranged wife is refusing to leave his $145 million compound in California … at least, not until her "financial demands" have been met.

Court documents reveal that Christine is refusing to leave the property.

According to the documents, which were obtained by NBC News, Kevin purchased the home before they were married and part of their prenuptial agreement is that she would vacate the property in 30 days in the event of a split.

But now that the time has come, Christine isn't keeping her end of the deal.

He says he's made 'multiple requests' for her to move out.

"Christine has not moved out, despite multiple requests that she do so and despite Kevin’s offers to assist her financially in relocating to a new residence," his legal team wrote, according to Today.

But it's not just that she doesn't want to leave the home — she has a goal in mind, according to Kevin.

She has 'financial demands' that she wants met.

"Christine has taken the position that she will not move out of Kevin’s separate property residence unless and until Kevin agrees to various financial demands," his legal team said.

The documents go on to state that his ex-wife told him that she plans to "at least" challenge Kevin's spousal support waiver in the prenup that was drawn when they got married in 2003.

According to their agreement, Kevin was to pay Christine $1 million when she filed for divorce in May, along with a $200,000 deposit on a new home, along with moving fees and paying for homeowners insurance and property taxes for the first year," Today reported. He also agreed to give her an additional payment of $38,000 per month on top of the $30,000 in child support he is required to pay monthly, as the couple shares three children: Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13.

Kevin said in a declaration that he has stressed the importance of having a 'home base' to Christine.

"I made it clear to her that I would not marry again without clarity that my separate property residences would remain mine to live in no matter what happened in our marriage. Christine acknowledged to me at the time that she understood the importance of this to me and she agreed to this provision," he shared.

Here's hoping they're willing to work this out quickly.
