After more than a decade as a member of the royal family, it’s safe to say that Kate Middleton has cemented her place in fashion history as a style icon. Just like the last woman to carry the Princess of Wales title, Kate has had no problem setting trends and making an impact when it comes to British style (and even style worldwide). Her fashion savvy has even been a major boon to the United Kingdom’s economy, and King Charles may be planning to honor her for this achievement in a big way.

According to what multiple royal experts told Fox News Digital, Charles is interested in granting Kate the power to hand out the Royal Warrant of Appointment – an honor that allows certain businesses to display the Royal Arms after the royal family has officially given them their support.
There are more than 800 Royal Warrant holders, and right now, King Charles is the only one who can hand them out. But if this intel is to be believed, that may change soon and Kate may be able to give them out as well, and it all goes back to the impact her style has had on the British economy.
“It signals King Charles III’s faith in Catherine,” royal expert Hilary Fordwich told the news outlet. “She’ll have increasing influence as she is being groomed for such responsibilities. This is due to her poise, intelligence, tact and reliability as he is gradually delegating responsibilities to the next generation.”
And he should have faith in Kate, because her influence on fashion has reportedly added up to over $1 billion in sales from those who want to steal her look.

Another expert, Helena Chard, told Fox News Digital that it would be a “smart move” on Charles’ part.
“King Charles is extremely fond of his loving and resilient daughter-in-law. He holds her in high esteem. I’m sure he will be honored to implement a major royal first,” she said.
Earlier this month, The Times reported that sources close to Kate said she’ll be given the power to grant warrants later this year and will likely use them to put her seal of approval on her favorite brands, including some of her most worn designers such as Alexander McQueen.
Jewelry designer Catherine Zoraida told the news outlet that after Kate has been spotted wearing her earrings, she receives “something like a 500% lift in sales.”
“A few weeks later, [Kate] was on the front page of every newspaper wearing the earrings and I was pinged around the planet,” she said. “My website crashed and orders came in from lovely people who were fortunately very patient because, at that stage, I was making them all myself, one by one.”
In that case, Kate might just be the world’s No. 1 influencer, and she doesn’t even have to post about her outfits on Instagram to be successful.
