Kristen Bell Says Daughters Delta & Lincoln Aren’t Big ‘Frozen’ Fans

More than a decade after the first Frozen movie hit theaters, it’s still a huge phenomenon. If you have kids, there’s a good chance that you have the entire soundtrack memorized – unless you’re Kristen Bell. Despite the fact that she voices Anna in the franchise, Kristen admitted in a new interview that her daughters aren’t into Frozen themselves. Don’t they realize how cool their mom is?!

Unlike many other kids, Kristen's daughters never hopped on the 'Frozen' bandwagon.

In a video interview that Vanity Fair shared on its official TikTok account, Kristen revealed that Lincoln, 11, and Delta,  9, aren’t very into the franchise — but they do know their mom’s part in it has brought their family a lot of cash.

“They certainly appreciate it in the fact that they can go to college because of it, but they’re not part of the Frozen phenomenon,” she said.

Then again, Kristen said it's her kids' job not to be into their mom's movies.

“Because kids are meant to make you feel grounded and they are meant to reject things their parents are involved in,” she said. “Even if they secretly liked it, they would never tell me.”

Yeah, that sounds about right — especially now that Delta and Lincoln are approaching tween territory.

That wasn't all she had to say about the movie, though.

During the interview, Kristen watched a scene from Frozen where Anna was running around the castle, preparing for Elsa’s ill-fated coronation ball, joking about the line where Anna sings, “Why have a ballroom with no balls?” in “For the First Time in Forever.”

“How did we get that joke in there?” she said. “C’mon! We slid it under the radar. It almost didn’t make it in. But then we were like, ‘What are you talking about? That’s not what it means. Don’t be a perv.’”

Anna really means something to her.

Kristen said that not only was becoming a Disney princess a dream come true for her — she was “obsessed” with Disney movies as a child — but it was important for her to portray the right character.

“It occurred to me that I would do anything they asked me to, but what I should be valiantly striving for is to create a character that I really needed to see when I was 11 years old, which was someone like this character,” she shared.

She's far from done with Anna — good news to the kiddos out there who are big fans.

In August, Disney announced that Frozen 3 will hit theaters on November 24, 2027, but that’s not all. CEO Bob Iger also has confirmed that Frozen 4 is actually already in the works as well.

Maybe before the next installments are out, Delta and Lincoln will have a change of heart. But if not, something tells us their mom won’t mind too much.
