Madonna Rushed to the ICU After Being Found Unresponsive

Madonna was reportedly found unresponsive and rushed to the hospital earlier this week. The 64-year-old "Material Girl" singer spent at least one night in the intensive care unit after what her rep explains were complications from a "serious bacterial infection." Madonna's health scare comes amid the singer's preparations for her long-awaited Celebration tour, which has been postponed.

The music icon is reportedly on the mend.

According to Madge's rep, Guy Oseary, she is no longer in the ICU after having been intubated and spending several days being treated for the infection at a New York City hospital. But she is still receiving medical care related to the infection.

Madonna should make a full recovery.

"Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected," Guy wrote in an Instagram post. He also announced that Madonna's Celebration tour will be postponed until further notice.

At this point, the tour is being rescheduled, not canceled.

As of now, Madonna's rep asserts the singer's commitments, including the tour, are being rescheduled, not canceled. "We will share new details with you as soon as we have them," he wrote on Instagram. "Including a new start date for the tour, and for rescheduled shows."
