March 4 is shaping up to be a huge day for Meghan Markle. Between the premiere of her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, and the launch of her new brand, As Ever, the projects that she’s been putting her energy and effort into are finally materializing. But as the big day gets closer, new problems appear to keep cropping up that could result in the entire thing backfiring.

Meghan’s been sharing more and more about her new brand on Instagram.
Called As Ever, Meghan told fans on Instagram that her new brand will be “an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish – food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the everyday.”
The website for the brand is already up and running, and though it seems fans expect her merchandise to be available when it launches just days from now, but it sounds like that’s not happening, according to a new report from Page Six.
It could be a long time before her merchandise is available.
Although Meghan hasn’t been clear about exactly what she’ll be selling with As Ever, her famous jam is expected to be among the offerings, but it could be a while before anyone gets to sample it.
A source told Page Six that the products won’t be available to buy for “a few months” after the launch. Yikes!

She has also been accused of plagiarizing her logo.
The mayor of Porreres, Spain, Xisca Mora, has said that the logo for As Ever – which features a palm tree flanked by two hummingbirds – is too similar to their small town’s crest and has shared a public plea via local news outlets to Meghan to change it.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, Mayor Mora said, “[It] has been linked to our town since it was founded hundreds of years ago. We are still a bit shocked. We thought it was fake news at first – we didn’t know what was happening.”
Meghan won’t be able to sell clothes, either.
As it turns out, there’s a Chinese clothing brand called ASEVER, and the Daily Mail reported that her trademark application was partially rejected due to a “likelihood of confusion.”
But after Meghan reapplied for the trademark, leaving any mention of clothing out of her application, it was finally approved.
With the launch of the brand happening next week, hopefully she doesn’t run into any more problems. She’s cutting it close to the wire!
