22 of the Most Entertaining Movies Coming to Netflix in October

It's nearly October, and along with the cooler weather, hay rides, pumpkin picking, and apple cider indulgences, we now have a whole slate of new movies arriving on Netflix to look forward to. (What better way to welcome the coziest of seasons than to have a Netflix and chill playlist queued up and ready to go?) From new Netflix originals to old favorites, viewers will have lots of films to choose from on the streaming platform this October. Movie lovers seriously won't even mind staying in most nights thanks to all the films being added to Netflix.

At least a couple dozen movies are making a Netflix debut — or reappearing on Netflix in the coming month — so there's no need to sweat the movies leaving Netflix in October. We just can't wait to snuggle up under a fuzzy blanket with our warm drinks, pumpkin spice munchies, and a good movie to help us escape reality for a bit.

The second of Jim Carrey's Ace Ventura films, in this installment, the wacky pet detective returns from a spiritual quest in search of an elusive white bat that is considered sacred amongst two tribes in Africa, but has mysteriously disappeared. The investigation of course doesn't go exactly as planned — starting with the fact that Ace is afraid of bats!

'Along Came a Spider'

This adorable rom-com out of Mexico offers a unique take on the genre. In You've Got This, an advertising executive is desperate to become a father, but his wife — whose career as a lawyer is peaking — isn't quite ready.
