The Best New Content Coming to Netflix in June 2023

Now that summer is finally here, things are starting to slow down — and that means we have more time to watch movies and TV shows. And fortunately for those of us who love a Friday night on the couch, Netflix is certainly delivering in June 2023. So many new shows, movies, and even documentaries are coming our way in the month ahead that our summer viewing schedule is pretty much set.

Not only will June bring the return of Black Mirror for the first time in four years, but we're also getting the final season of Mindy Kaling's teen dramedy, Never Have I Ever. And if you need another rom-com to fall in love with, Gabrielle Union stars in The Perfect Find, which is also debuting this month on the streaming service.

'Manifest' Season 4, Part 2

The second part of the fourth season of Manifest arrives on June 2. After the drama was canceled by NBC, fans rallied around the show enough that Netflix picked it up for one last season, and now we'll finally get to see the series receive the sendoff it deserves.

'Arnold'

On June 7, the three-part documentary Arnold, which follows the life and career of bodybuilder, Hollywood star, and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger, will hit Netflix. According to the streamer, the series is narrated by Arnold himself and is split between his life as an athlete, his life as an actor, and his life as an American.

'Never Have I Ever' Season 4

We never want to say goodbye to Devi and her many, many romantic — and all too relatable — blunders, but the time has officially come. Never Have I Ever is back for its fourth and final season on June 8, when we'll get to see Devi (and her friends) graduate from high school — and maybe even get a happily ever after with Ben. Or will it be Paxton?

'Tour de France: Unchained'

Releasing on June 8, Netflix's Tour de France: Unchained follows different cycling teams who are competing in the famous race. Chronicling the 2022 Tour de France, this documentary is timed perfectly to this year's race, which kicks off the first week of July.

'Tex Mex Motors' Season 1

The reality series Tex Mex Motors follows the staff at an El Paso, Texas, auto shop who work on restoring junked vehicles that their owners bring to them from Mexico. Season one premieres on June 9.

'Amy Schumer: Emergency Contact'

It's been far too long since we've had a comedy special from Amy Schumer, but fortunately, another one is arriving on June 13. Called Emergency Contact, this one promises that Amy will cover everything from "lasering her face, postpartum sex, her baby-naming disaster, and chewable Viagra."

'Our Planet II'

Nature lovers everywhere are going to be pleased to see that Our Planet II, another installment of David Attenborough's series, arrives on June 14. This time, the documentary explores why and how animals migrate — and it features some seriously beautiful visuals.

'Extraction 2'

On June 16, Chris Hemsworth is back in Extraction 2, the sequel to Extraction, the movie where he plays Tyler Rake, a mercenary on a mission to save the kidnapped son of an Indian crime lord. The sequel picks up where the first film left off, with Tyler taking on another mission with extremely high stakes.

'Take Care of Maya'

Take Care of Maya follows a girl named Maya Kowalski and her parents as they try to navigate a rare illness she was diagnosed with at 10 years old, only for Maya to be removed from her home and put into state care. In the documentary, which is out on June 19, her family tells their own story.

'Glamorous' Season 1

Starring Kim Cattrall, Miss Benny, and Jade Peyton, Glamorous is a queer drama about Marco, a non-gender-conforming influencer who begins working with a high-powered makeup mogul after she discovers him working at a makeup counter and changes his life. Season one premieres on June 22.

'The Perfect Find'

Gabrielle Union is bringing us the ideal summer rom-com in The Perfect Find, which premieres on June 23. In the movie, which also stars Gina Torres, La La Anthony, and Keith Powers, Gabrielle plays a fashion editor whose life is thrown into chaos after she kisses her boss' son at a party.

'Run Rabbit Run'

In the horror movie Run Rabbit Run, which is out June 28, Succession star Sarah Snook plays a fertility doctor whose daughter begins having memories of a past life that may be all too real. Elizabeth Moss and Greta Scacchi also star.

'The Witcher' Season 3 Volume 1

It's the beginning of the end for Henry Cavill in The Witcher — after this season, he will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth. The show is returning for Season 3, Volume 1, on June 29, with the second volume of the season arriving just weeks later on July 27.

'Is It Cake Too?'

Fans of fun baking series are going to be happy to see that Is It Cake? is returning on June 30 in the form of Is It Cake Too? — another competition series where bakers will try to create convincing replicas of different everyday objects that leave judges questioning whether it's real or cake.

'Black Mirror' Season 6

Though a premiere date hasn't been officially announced yet, we do know that the first new season of Black Mirror since 2019 will be arriving on Netflix sometime in June. The episodes will feature stars including Kate Mara, Michael Cera, Aaron Paul, Annie Murphy, and many others.

"This time, alongside some of the more familiar Black Mirror tropes, we've also got a few new elements including some I've previously sworn blind the show would never do, to stretch the parameters of what a Black Mirror episode even is," creator Charlie Brooker told Netflix's Tudum. "The stories are all still tonally Black Mirror through and through — but with some crazy swings and more variety than ever before."
