Now that fall is finally in the air, that can only mean one thing (besides an abundance of pumpkin spice-flavored products): New TV shows are about to premiere. Between the traditional networks and the plethora of streaming services we now have access to, there's a bigger fall lineup than ever before, so there's a lot to be excited about as these shows begin to roll out now that September has arrived.
Of course, plenty of our favorite long-running shows are set to return in the coming weeks, including The Handmaid's Tale and even The Kardashians, but right now, we want to talk about brand new TV. This is stuff we've never seen before, and there's a good chance that we'll find our new favorite show among the ones on this list.
From fresh takes on beloved stories to totally new concepts, there are so many shows we're looking forward to watching this fall. Keep reading for all the details!
'The Rings of Power'
Even if you aren't a die-hard Lord of the Rings fan, Amazon Prime's new series The Rings of Power is worth checking out, considering the fact that, with a budget of nearly $500 million, it's one of the most expensive TV shows ever made. It hits the streamer on September 2, and will serve as a prequel to the famous Tolkien-inspired franchise.
'The Reboot'
In Hulu's series The Reboot, Rebecca Bloom (the genius behind Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) stars as a writer who is working on a reboot of a popular 2000s sitcom, but now that the cast is back together, the issues they've always had with each other come bubbling right back to the surface. Premiering September 20, The Reboot also stars Paul Reiser, Keegan-Michael Key, and Judy Greer.
