Singer Paul Cattermole has been found dead in his home in England at 46 years old. The S Club 7 bandmate had recently been doing promotional photos and getting ready to hit the road with the group when his body was discovered. The sad news was shared by the band on social media Friday.

The band shared the sad update on April 7.
Sharing an old photo of the singer, the group posted the heartbreaking news. "We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul," the group began the post. "There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel."
S Club 7 was formed by the former manager of the Spice Girls and rose to fame thanks to its hit BBC series Miami 7.
The group members celebrated the many memories they shared with Paul.
"He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us," the post continued. "We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time."
Fans quickly took to the comments to share their shock and grief, with some people sharing their last interactions with the pop star before his sudden and unexpected death.
Fans sent their condolences to both the band and Paul's family.
Shockwaves reverberated online, with people sharing their thoughts and prayers.

Another tagged a friend, saying how they "were only telling him a few weeks ago how excited we were for the comeback!"
"Omg! I cannot believe this," another person wrote.
Paul's family made a separate statement about the loss.
According to Page Six, Paul's family released a few additional details about the singer's death, saying that he had been found on April 6 in his Dorset home and that there was no known cause of death at this time.

The band had only just announced a reunion tour.
Two months prior to Paul's death, S Club 7 revealed it would be hitting the road again, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the band.
"Obviously, we're bringing the nostalgia. Obviously we're bringing the late '90s, early (2000s), so it's a lot of fun," bandmate Bradley McIntosh told BBC's The One Show at the time. "It's very positive, our music, very positive."
