Shannen Doherty Reveals Who Won’t Be Invited to Her Funeral

As she continues to fight stage 4 breast cancer, Shannen Doherty is planning ahead for her future. In a new episode of her podcast, Let's Be Clear, the former Beverly Hills 90210 actress opened up about the funeral plans she's made so far, and it sounds like she's put a lot of thought into it already — including who she does and does not want to be in attendance. Shannen has some strong feelings about who shouldn't show up, no matter how obligated they might feel to be there.

Shannen shared her 'morbid' conversation with a friend.

Chatting with friend Chris Cortazzo on the podcast — who also happens to be the executor of her will — Shannen admitted that she is "horrible" at funerals and is always the one who "literally sobs."

Knowing this, it makes sense that she's already put a lot of thought into what her own funeral should be like.

She thinks some people will show up at her funeral who 'don't actually really like' her.

Shannen has touched a lot of lives in the 52 years she's been alive, and that number will only continue to grow. But at this point, it sounds like her main concern revolves on making sure the people who are at her funeral are there for the right reasons.

"There's a lot of people that I think would show up that I don't want there," she said. "I don't want them there because their reasons for showing up aren't necessarily the best reasons. Like, they don't really like me and, you know, they have their reasons and good for them, but they don't actually really like me enough to show up to my funeral."

She thinks those people will show up because it's the 'politically correct' thing for them to do.

"I kinda want to take the pressure off them and I want my funeral to be like a love fest. I don't want people to be crying or people to privately be like, 'Thank God that b—- is dead now,'" she said.

It all goes back to how much she says she hates when people are 'fake.'

"I can't stand people who want to all of the sudden pretend that they found Jesus and they're so sorry and they repent and they didn't mean anything bad that they said about you, blah, blah, blah. I can't stand that," she said. "I'm like, 'No, no, no. I know you're still the exact same petty human being. Don't. Just stay away from me. We're good. I don't need to say something bad about you, you don't need to say something bad about me, but we can just ignore each other.'"

Unfortunately, Shannen didn't name any names. This could have been juicy!

She also knows what she wants to happen to her body after she dies.

Though she's not sure where she wants to be laid to rest, she knows that she wants to be cremated.

"I want to be mixed with my dog, and I want to be mixed with my dad," she said.

It can't be easy making decisions like these, but it seems important to Shannen to make sure that all of her wishes have been communicated.
