15 Thrillers on Amazon Prime That Give Netflix a Run for Its Money

Few things in the world are better than spending a night on the couch watching movies, and thanks to streaming services — like Amazon Prime — there are thousands of movies at our fingertips, just waiting for us to watch. (Plenty of them are ones that we never even knew existed in every genre out there.) And when it comes to a good thriller movie, Amazon Prime has plenty of those, too. Netflix better watch out as many of these have somehow managed to fly totally under the radar, despite interesting plots and amazing casts.

The best thing about thrillers is that there are so many different categories within the genre to fit anyone's taste, and this list has everything. For those looking for more of a psychological thriller, there are movies like that here, and for those who prefer their thrillers to be more similar to a horror movie, there are those, too. Political thrillers, crime thrillers, even prison thrillers — there's truly something for everybody.

How some of these movies haven't gotten more attention is totally beyond us, since many of them feature huge stars we've seen before in shows — like Game of Thrones, or The Crown — but they're definitely unappreciated … until now.

Read on for thrillers that are currently streaming on Amazon Prime that even the biggest fans of the genre may never have heard of before. The next few movie nights are definitely planned out, and it won't even require leaving the house (or even the living room).

Happy viewing!
