It's official: Another celebrity kid is celebrating the end of their high school career. On Friday, Suri Cruise — the daughter of former couple Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise — graduated from her school in New York, donning a red cap and gown for the occasion. But there's one little detail that stood out about the ceremony where she's concerned. Judging by the name she's listed under in the program, it looks like Suri has decided to drop her dad's last name.

Paparazzi caught photos of Suri at the ceremony.
She's grinning from ear to ear in the snaps, clearly excited to celebrate such a happy day — and her mom seems to be just as happy as she is.
LaGuardia High School's graduation was held at United Palace Theatre in New York City. Suri wore a white dress under her red robe with matching white sandals.
The way her name was listed in the program spoke volumes.

She and her dad have been estranged for years, and Katie has had sole custody of their daughter since their 2012 divorce.
Her dad was out of the country on graduation day.
Because they reportedly haven't spent time together in a very long time, it's no surprise Tom wasn't in the audience to see Siri walk across the stage and get her diploma. Instead, he was in London, taking in one of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour dates.

This isn't the first time Suri has chosen to drop her dad's last name.
Earlier this year, Suri played Philoclea in her school's production of the musical Head Over Heels, and the name "Cruise" was missing from the playbill, marking what may have been the first time she chose to go by Suri Noelle — at least, that we know of.
Now, it seems like that change has stuck.
It's been a big month for Suri.
Just days before graduation, Suri attended prom, showing up for the event in a gorgeous (and unique) patterned bodice-style gown.
It looks like she and her mom have so much to celebrate now as Suri prepares to start college at Carnegie Mellon in the fall. Katie must be so proud of her daughter!
