When it comes to pie, fruit is fine, but chocolate is divine. French silk pie in particular is rich, creamy, and nothing short of dreamy. Topped with whipped cream, it's irresistible. It reminds me of late nights in diners, holiday celebrations, and other occasions when there was a call for comfort food.
While some recipes for French silk pie, call for raw eggs, this version from Food.com is safer because it actually cooks the eggs. It's still easy and impressive looking — perfect for any occasion.
