Mila Kunis is drop-dead gorgeous, and stuff like Botox and fillers and other crap that comes in a needle should be the furthest thing from her mind. But, of course, it isn't, because she lives in Hollywood, land of all that is vapid and shallow and wrong with the universe. However, the starlet does give a really great, really honest answer to Harper's Bazaar when asked if she'll ever dabble with injectables.
Finally, an actress willing to tell the truth about going under the needle.
Kunis told the mag: "I will not put a needle in my body unless I have a medical reason, but ask me in 10 years. Right now, I'm like, 'I'm going to embrace it,' but … I'm probably going to want to have something done. I have no doubt."
Of course she's going to want to have something done! Not because she'll need to, because, unfortunately, that's the nature of the business. I'm sure all of her colleagues will be "shooting up," and sadly, it will probably make her want to, also. For a young actress to say that they'll never do anything like that is unrealistic — and kind of a lie.
It's not exactly a secret that women in Hollywood have work done. I mean, seriously, look at any actress over 30. Do they look like the 30-year-olds you know? Of course they don't. They're all freakishly lovely, and always look like they've just returned from a vacation where they slept 15 hours a day. They don't have bags under their eyes or lines around their mouths. That's not natural (no matter how much green juice you intake) — that's Botox!
I know these ladies (and men) all want us to think they're superhuman, but it's so annoying that celebrities will rarely admit that they've had work done. My least favorite answer of all is: "I tried it, but I didn't like it. I just wasn't for me."
So, Mila's answer is great. She sounds like she has a healthy — realistic — view of things. In the real world, she wouldn't need an ounce of the stuff, but unfortunately, she doesn't live in the real world. She lives in Hollywood.
