Target Just Reminded Us Why We All Love Cat & Jack Clothing

As moms, we all love Target for selfish reasons. It's a place we can "escape" to for all our household needs while simultaneously losing ourselves in aisle after aisle of treat-yo-self goodies.

One of our favorite things about Target? The store has adorable and affordable clothes for our kids via the brand Cat & Jack.

Another reason to love this brand? It offers inclusive "adaptive" clothing options for kids with disabilities.

Meaning that the clothes look exactly like average kids' clothing, except there are tons of considerations made to make lives for disabled kids (and their parents) a lot easier. Clothing that has flat seams for kids with sensory issues, coats that work for kids in wheelchairs, and easy-access zippers can all make playtime much more manageable for them.

Though it launched in 2017, Target just gave customers a look into the story behind the collection, which really stems from a silent consumer demand.

The video, which the company shared on YouTube, highlights the story of Bentley, a 7-year-old who modeled the first line of clothing. We learn that Bentley's mom, Kris Erickson, was moved to tears when she found the clothing had hidden abdominal access.

"I said, 'You have no idea the difference this has made,'" she breathily said into the camera. "Bentley was born at 31 weeks with probably about 25 different diagnoses. It wasn't until the Cat & Jack line where he got to be a kid. All of a sudden, his life revolves around being a 7-year-old."

I'm not crying you're crying!

But seriously, how cool is it to know that brands are considering kids of all backgrounds?
