A Tiny Washing Machine For Beautyblenders Exists And The Internet Is Dumbfounded

Innovative beauty tools are made to make life easier, and so are products that help us clean off our beauty applicators. However, the two rarely ever collide, until now. After posting what appeared to be a real (and tiny) washing machine for beauty sponges, one beauty YouTuber is receiving a ton of praise and has inspired brands near and far.

So if you've been looking for a quick and easy way to get makeup off your beauty sponges without all the physical labor it often requires, this is for you. However, where to get it may surprise you.

When beauty YouTuber Tiffany Lynette Davis posted this video of her washing her beauty sponges, people went insane.

While the act of washing makeup sponges is rarely exciting and an often tedious task, it appeared that Davis had finally unlocked the key to efficient and enjoyable beauty sponge sanitation. She did so with what appeared to be a washing machine made just for her beauty applicators.

"This is the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen. My innner girly girl is TINGLING," an eager commenter said.

BEHOLD, a teeny tiny washing machine.

Look familiar? That's cause it is. In fact, this beauty sponge washing machine wasn't created for that use at all. Instead it was made for Barbie lovers who simply want to spruce up their doll houses with a staple home appliance. With Davis' broad imagination, the child's toy took on another form, and nobody was prepared.

She was quick to warn others not to be fooled by other brands selling the product.

In the small amount of time that Davis' video has been out, brands have already been using her photos and ideas to sell "Beauty Blender Washing Machines," something that we all now know was never actually a thing and is proving to all be a hoax.

So how does it work?

To show its efficiency, Davis first displayed her two beauty sponges covered in product. She then filled the small toy with equal parts water and makeup soap to create a solution that would rinse off the powder in the most effective way. Then came the fun part.

The makeup sponge spins around like in a literal washing machine.

Spinning around and round, the sponge was turned every which way until Davis determined it looked clean enough. After draining the soap, she filled with water again and rinsed it off. After taking one more spin, the sponge was ready to go. Davis also was giving us serious model vibes in the camera while we waited.

The results were seriously impressive.

The sponge looked good as new, and Davis had everyone going wild.

"Now it's a race to see which beauty sponge company will actually make one of these for real cleaning use!!" a commenter said. But beware, people who have gone searching for the tool have been seriously disappointed.

Someone got scammed out of their money.

"I think that Beauty Blender washing machine website scammed me lmao I got an email 4 days ago and haven’t received no shipping or anything information and I just went on the website and none of their social media is listed on the website," said a person who bought the nonexistent product online.

She wasn't the only one.

"Girl, I almost did too!! And so many online companies are now selling and advertising this as a 'beauty sponge cleaner.' But it's only a Barbie washing machine lmao. Gonna be a lot of disappointed people," another said. In other words, anyone looking for a washing machine for their sponges should go ahead and buy a Barbie toy instead.

There were also other concerns.

Others brought up that buying an influx of the product wasn't good for the environment.

"For those interested in this, just note that this is a child’s toy and NOT meant to be a beauty blender / brush cleaner despite the labels.  Also, even though it's cute, this will most likely end up in landfills contributing to more plastic waste as it’s difficult to recycle," someone said.

So basically, guys, there's no real "Beauty Sponge Washing Machine" out there yet.

"For everyone on Instagram trying to find this 'beauty blender washing machine,' it is definitely not a makeup sponge washing machine it is a toy….. Beauty appliances are getting out of hand," someone said.

But if you're in the mood for a new beauty appliance, the toy store may be the place for you.
