A clothing tag from skateboarding brand RipNDip is a real blast from the past — and not in the good way.
On Friday (August 5), Reddit user thedoctorsclara posted a pic of a RipNDip care tag that is seriously on some 1950s-misguided-notions-of-gender-roles shit. For those unfamiliar, RipNDip is a pretty popular brand sold at stores like Zumiez — they're most famous for their "Lord Nermal" gear.
"If washing becomes completely necessary give to momma or gf then go skate," the tag says.

I'm sorry, did us ~ sensitive Millennials ~ miss the memo or something? Because I was under the impression that laundry — while tiresome and tedious — is not a gendered activity.
"What lovely, subliminal sexism, RipNDip clothing," the Redditor wrote.
This is not the first time RipNDip has been called out for its tags' overtly sexist messages.
Instagram user cuddledogs710 did not hold back in her review:
"Wth is this?," she wrote in a scathing post. "Absolutely ticked that I spent money on this #sexist bullshit. Rather than teach boys to be #douchebags to #women maybe give them the instructions on how to wash your clothes in the first place."
"I hope all women who see this in the #laundry pour a giant cup of bleach in it."
Despite people's attempts to contact RipNDip directly about the tag, the brand hasn't commented on it at all.
Hopefully RipNDip responds after they wake up from the 60-year-long coma they've been in.
Revelist has reached out to RipNDip for comment.
