14-Year-Old Is Accused of Hiring Hitmen To Kill Her Mother, Who She Reportedly ‘Hated’

An adolescent girl in Russia allegedly contracted with hitmen to brutally kill her mother. The body of 38-year-old Anastasiya Milosskaya was found in a trash dump in Moscow, reportedly severely beaten and strangled. Her 14-year-old daughter is presumed to be the mastermind behind the vicious killing because some say she hated her mother.

The suspected killers are fellow teenagers. Police also arrested a 15-year-old male accomplice for conspiring with Milosskaya’s daughter to commit murder, the Daily Mail Reported. The daughter and her boyfriend reportedly planned to live in her mother’s apartment and survive from her savings of approximately $37,000 USD. Instead, they are behind bars.

The teenage boy had been living in the family’s flat.

Investigators believe the 15-year-old boyfriend was staying with Milosskaya and her daughter but that there was a disagreement among the three. The single mother, who was a real estate agent, reportedly told the boy to leave because he was a bad influence on her daughter, the Mirror reported.

The teens allegedly waited in the flat for Milosskaya to return home.

According to the Mirror, the daughter, her boyfriend, and the two alleged killers all stood guard at the flat March 24 waiting for Milosskaya to return to the home. The teenage assailants reportedly brutally attacked her when she entered the flat.

They left her body, allegedly returning two days later to dispose of it. The teens wrapped her in plastic, put her body on a mattress, and left her in a dumpster. A janitor found the body the following day.

Milosskaya and her daughter reportedly had a contentious relationship.

Milosskaya kept very active on social media, regularly sharing photos of what appeared to be an exciting lifestyle. The images highlighted her beauty, often with selfies or shots where she was alone.

Her daughter was allegedly unhappy with her mother, the Daily Mail reported. The 14-year-old girl "spoke about hating her mother many times, even though her mother was a good person who loved her.”

The killing is under investigation.

The four teens, all 14 to 17 years old, are being held in a youth correctional colony. They face charges of murder or conspiracy to commit murder. The maximum sentence they could receive is 10 years in prison if convicted. According to NDTV, the 14-year-old girl allegedly paid the teens approximately $4,500 to kill her mother.

Parricide is the rarest type of murder.

When a child kills their parent, it is called parricide. KTNV reported that in 2015, 15,129 murders occurred in the United States, and of those, 169 mothers and 186 fathers were killed by their children. Although young adult white males often commit parricide, it is not unheard of for an adolescent to kill a parent.

For adolescents, the motivation behind parricide is often long-term abuse, KTNV reported, and there is usually no history of mental health issues. A 2008 study revealed that daughters are more likely than sons to kill their mothers and stepfathers.

“There are three types of parricide offenders: severely abused, mentally ill and dangerously antisocial. Dangerously antisocial individuals usually kill their parents because they see them as an obstacle to a goal or desire,” according to KTNV.
