A family is in mourning after unspeakable tragedy. On August 6, nine members of their family died when their car went off the road, landing in a Florida canal. The family has spent the last month trying to recover emotionally from losing so many of their loved ones at the same time. But then, before they even have time to get themselves together, yet another tragedy struck.
Another member of the family, who lost her daughter and granddaughter in the crash, was found dead while in town for their funeral. And now the family is blanketed in a grief that many couldn’t imagine.

Her death came as a total shock.
Andrea Edwards died on September 10, nearly a month after a fatal car crash killed nine members of her family. “We just lost nine. And then lose another one on top of that,” her sister Antianette Edwards told South Florida NBC affiliate NBC 6.
Her cause of death is still yet to be determined.
Family members suspect that Andrea died as the result of a seizure, but her sister thinks that she actually died from a broken heart. Andrea’s 21-year-old daughter Anyia, and Anyia’s 1-year-old daughter Na’leia, were two of the nine victims of the car crash.
“She said her heart was so broken,” Antianette revealed. “She didn’t know how to deal with the reality of it.”

The family is simply trying to get through it all.
So far, the family has already held three funerals for those lost in the car crash. Now, they’re in the process of planning a fourth. There is a GoFundMe the family has set up to help cover the funeral and burial costs.
“I’m numb. I’m numb most of the time. People talk to me, I can’t focus,” Antianette shared. “This one is a shock. And the family is like, their heart can’t take it.”
The crash was beyond tragic.
In early August, the nine members of the family were driving in a Ford Explorer when the SUV went off the roadway and flipped into a canal in Belle Glade, located in Palm Beach County, Florida. Four members of the family died at the scene, and another five died in the hospital. There was one survivor, who had serious injuries.
The victims were identified as 57-year-old Pamela Wiggins, who was the driver, 30-year-old Leiana Alyse Hall, 21-year-old Anyia Monique Lee Tucker, 14-year-old Michael Anthony Hall Jr., 8-year-old Imani Andre Ajani Hall, 5-year-olds Kamdien Edwards and Yasire Smith, 3-year-old Ziaire Mack, and 1-year-old Na’leia Tucker. According to police reports, none of the people in the car were wearing seat belts.
