Mom Accused of Trafficking After Allegedly Telling Man He Could Assault Her 7-Month-Old for $400

An Indiana mom is facing felony charges after allegedly trying to get involved in child sex trafficking. According to investigators, including the FBI, mom Morgan Stapp offered her baby to a man on the popular social media app Snapchat. She told the man he could sexually assault her baby if he paid her. Apparently, Stapp, a mom of seven, was struggling financially, so she decided to use Snapchat as a way to make money through sex work. However, the app flagged her attempts. Now, she could be spending years in jail as a result.

The 32-year-old mom has been arrested on a felony sex trafficking charge, Fox 59 reported. She was arrested on July 8, 2025, at a home in Indianapolis. Stapp was being investigated by the FBI after the agency received a report from Snapchat about attempted sex trafficking on the app.

Messages from user ā€œmorgan-stappā€ reportedly included pictures of her 7-month-old daughter.

ā€œU can f— her for 400$,ā€ one message read. ā€œHalf now rest after. I’ll send my address. I do live alone, and her dad is not in the picture.ā€

FBI agents interviewed Stapp on November 11, 2024, and asked her about the messages. She told them that her account was ā€œhackedā€ and she no longer had access to it. Stapp also told investigators she had gotten an email saying that her account was permanently banned because of ā€œonline commercial sex transactions.ā€

During an interview with the Indiana Department of Children Services later that month, the mom reportedly admitted that she lied to FBI agents. ā€œI wanted the FBI to leave,ā€ she allegedly said.

In December, the FBI reached out to the Indiana Metropolitan Police Department for additional help with the case. Detective Kristen Hartman obtained a search warrant for Stapp’s Snapchat account, People reported.

There, she found more than 7,000 messages sent between October 29 and November 1, 2024, according to the probable cause affidavit, per People. Of those messages, 81 of them read ā€œWould you be interested in buying my nudes so I can get baby diapers?ā€ Authorities also found multiple images of Morgan Stapp taken after she told the FBI she lost access to her account.

If Stapp is convicted of the level 2 felony, she could serve a fixed sentence of 10 to 30 years by Indiana law, according to People. Her bail was set at $200,000, but it was lowered to $100,000 in court. However, she remains in jail. Stapp’s next court appearance is scheduled for September 15.
