Body of Pregnant Woman Found 3 Weeks After She Went Missing But No One Can Find Her Baby

After weeks of searching, the body of missing Michigan woman Rebecca Park has been found. Police searched furiously for the woman after her family reported she disappeared without a trace. The biggest reason the search was so intense? Park was 38 weeks pregnant, and it was possible that she could give birth at any moment. Sadly, the young woman was found dead, and there is now an investigation into what happened after she went missing.

Deputies from the Wexford County Sheriff’s Office said 22-year-old Park was last seen around 11:30 p.m. on November 3, 2025, WWTV reported. She got into a dark-colored vehicle at her mother’s home.

“Becca told her mom, ‘Hold on. I got somebody to pick me up. This is just something I got to do. I’m sorry,’” her fiancé Richard Falor told the outlet. “A black sedan pulled up, and she got in. Nobody’s heard from her since.”

Park never told anyone who was picking her up, and because the vehicle had tinted windows, no one could see who was driving. Her cellphone was later found on a two-track road near where she went missing.

“Her phone was found on a two-track across the street from her mom’s, and anybody that knows Becca, she doesn’t go anywhere without her phone,” Falor said. “Me and her have been together for a little over two years, and even when she’s not around me, she’s always in contact with me.”

According to Falor, the day before Park went missing, they were at the hospital because they feared she had gone into labor. They found out she was 1 centimeter dilated.

On November 25, a member of a search party confirmed seeing Park’s body, ClickOnDetroit reported. That night, the Wexford County Sheriff’s Office and Michigan State Police confirmed during a press conference that they found a body in Manistee National Forest.

Police also noted that Park had received a $2,000 family inheritance the day she went missing. Police believe that it helped her avoid being tracked electronically.

An autopsy confirmed that the body found belonged to Park, WPBN reported. The official cause of death is still pending.

In a press release, the sheriff said her baby was not found when volunteer searchers found Park’s body. The Wexford County Sheriff’s Office, Michigan State Police, and other law enforcement are searching for the baby.

Because of the investigation, the sheriff said they can only release an “extremely limited” amount of information.

“We understand the public’s desire for details and their demand for justice for Rebecca and her baby. We ask for your patience and understanding as we continue to seek answers for this tragic situation,” Sheriff Trent Taylor wrote.

Rebecca Park was missing for 21 days before her body was found.

Early on November 26, Park’s 21-year-old sister, Kimberly Park, was arrested and booked into the Wexford County Jail, People reported. Later that same day, she appeared in court and was arraigned on charges of tampering with evidence, lying to a police officer and filing a false report. Because all three are felony offenses, her bail was set at $750,000.

At 7:30 p.m. on November 25, 43-year-old Falor was also taken into custody and booked into the Wexford County Jail, the outlet reported. The following day, he was arraigned on two counts of delivering methamphetamine. His bail was set at $1 million.
