4 Teens, Including 2 Middle Schoolers, Die in ‘Violent’ Crash After Stealing Car & Losing Control

A Cleveland, Ohio, teenager reportedly tore through the city, speeding in a stolen car on March 12, 2025. Tragically, 18-year-old Eddy Deandre Bonner lost control of the vehicle and hit two trees, ultimately killing himself and three other teenage victims. The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on West 106th Street near Western Avenue. Police were not chasing the car at the time, and investigators are trying to piece together exactly what happened.

According to Cleveland.com, the Cuyahoga County medical examiner named Bonner, Caurie Williams, 19, Tamera Davis, 14, and Kalise McGee, 14, as victims in the crash. All four died at the scene. Davis and McGee were reportedly middle school students. It’s unclear who stole the 2014 Hyundai Sonata, but someone reported it missing from a home on Wichita Avenue on February 27.

Clarissa McGee, Kalise McGee’s mother, showed up at the crash site to mourn her daughter on March 13.

“It’s tough just laying there, look at my f—–g baby blood on the ground, like it’s hard,” she told News 5.

Witness Kenneth Boyle shared his emotions with the news station. “It’s hard to see, especially when they’re young kids.”

Kalise’s mother admitted that her daughter struggled with her behavior. “She went to school, but with her little behavior issues, I mean, sometimes it was hard to get her to go, but she still was a sweet kid, though,” Clarissa McGee said, per News 5. The mother added that Kalise was her only child and said she did not steal the car.

News 5 reported that Cleveland police confirmed someone reported Davis missing in September 2024. Cleveland Metropolitan School District confirmed Bonner attended high school as a remote student.

Sommer Brown told News 5 that another one of her children died in 2023. Now, she’s planning Tamera’s funeral. She said her daughter had a lot of potential. “She probably didn’t realize she was in a stolen car because you’ve got to think she was with her friend, a girl she thought she could trust,” Brown said.

The mother also expressed her concerns about the older teenagers. “I don’t understand why the guys were hanging around with 14-year-old kids,” Brown said.

She asserted that her daughter knew the rules. “Yes, they were outside late but I’m going to speak on my child’s situation. I didn’t give her permission, she knew the rules: be in the house before 8:30- 9 o’clock,” the mom explained to News 5.

Police Chief Dorothy “Annie” Todd, told News 5 that no footage of a chase exists, but surveillance did capture the vehicle speeding. Authorities do not know who stole the car.

“Vehicles can be absolutely dangerous and as we can see have deadly consequences with deadly results scary,” Todd said. The crash remains under investigation.
